House: warm and comfortable the room was great too with a little kitchen comfy bed etc. One thing was when we first got there the toilet overflowed and my husband plunged it clear. I informed the owner and he immediately came up and asked my husband repeatedly what he put down there. We said just toilet paper and he said...

This nice home is in a great part of town, in a residential area but close to UBC and within walking distance of cares and the bus line. Very comfortable rooms and beds. There are small kitchenettes and a refrigerator in each room, and private bathroom.

We enjoyed our four-night stay at this charming little B&B. We stayed in the Sunrise Room and, while it was not large, it was big enough for the two of us (and a yoga mat) and was very nice, extremely clean, and had a small kitchenette. The location is great - just two blocks from West 4th and also Broadway....

We stayed 3 days at the B&B and were in general very satisfied. Unfortunately, when we were there, they were renovating the kitchen which created lots of dust, but otherwise, we liked our stay. We liked the fact that we were provided with good continental breakfasted directly in our room. The small kitchen area enabled us to make our own...

After our initially reserved accommodations didn't workout for our weekend stay in Vancouver, we were left scrambling trying to find open rooms. (We were there over Victoria Day weekend.) We initially left a message at this place and went off looking elsewhere, with no luck. Fortunately, Jocelyn called us back, and despite it being almost 9pm, welcomed us to come...

Rooms are small. Adequate breakfast is provided in room. Public spaces are dark and not welcoming. No information provided on local eating. Owners present but not helpful or forthcoming with ideas and suggestions. Wound not work with children. Not a good value for price.

Quiet residential area close to busy 4th avenue , where there are convenient shops & restaurants , and Kitsilano beach . Had OK stay as basics were covered and host was friendly when approached . It was our first time that we had self served continental breakfast in room / kitchenette and made us realise that we prefer having a...

This B&B lived up to the promise on its website. There are three guest rooms and a suite in a lovely old house with guest access to the home’s living room and front porch for relaxation. The hosts are nice and accommodating. WiFi is free. It’s in a great neighborhood, on a quiet residential street within walking distance of the...

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighbourhood Profile
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.

“We loved our Sunrise Room - but we peeked at the Port Room next door and, for $10 more, you can have a much bigger room with cathedral ceilings. Next time we will try to get this room!”

“The owners of the B&B bought the breakfast food at the Wholefood Store which is known for its high quality products and the fact that many of their products are organic. Real nice!”
