We arrived a 2 a.m. and were greeted warmly. The room was tastefully decorated, very comfortable, with wonderful skyline views from floor 11. Borghese toiletries. Breakfast included quality pastries, yoghurts, fruit, and cereals other than the usual sugar-based, and also had an 8th floor view. (Nothing like real scones~heat in microwave.) Walking all over downtown was very easy. Staff instructed... More

This hotel is located on the upper floors of a private club. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with exceptional harbour views. The suite was large and well equipped, and having windows that opened was a plus. The bathroom was small in comparison to the spacious suite but aside from that and perhaps a fresh coat of paint to... More

This place should not be a hotel for another day. Every hotel in the planet has their name easy to spot, this one I drove around 5 times couldn't find it, parking is another disaster, after you park there is a special elevator that gets you to the hotel and then you have to walk through some tinny corridors like... I stayed here for 4 nights whist in the area for work. I had a suite on the 11th floor of the hotel, which was extremely pleasant. It was very spacious, with a separate living area and bedroom, but the bathroom was a little small. However, it was always immaculately clean, and with lovely toiletries. The hotel is a little... On a recent trip to Vancouver prior to a cruise we stayed at the Auberge.Found through trawling the internet and with special consideration to position for Canada Place where the ship left from. I came to the Auberge with my family during the Lululemon SeaWheeze Race during the week of Aug 23rd. I stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days, the stay was amazing! Hotel was overpriced but we wanted to stay near the cruise terminal. The staff were "up-itty" for lack of a better word. I think they think that their hotel is more upper class than it is but it is obviously not. The breakfast area is the size of a closet. Would spend the difference and stay at the Pan-Pacific next... I love how they kept the history behind this building. The room we had down one floor to the roof had a nice view of the waterfront and the city. The Auberge is in a great location. You are pretty much in walking distance from most of the attractions and downtown. That being said, The Auberge is not luxury and a bit run down. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
