Had never heard or seen this hotel before, even my family from Vancouver had never seen it. But what a lovely hotel it was. Its more expensive neighbours are the Fairmonts but they would be hard pressed to beat the Auberge for service and value. We travelled to stay in Vancouver for 2 night stop at the end of our...

Our suite was lovely all the staff were brilliant and could not have been better located. Close to restaurants, shops and Vancouver Bay. Directions to the hotel were awful 6 times around the block, Hotel signage is small and on the side of a wall. Breakfast is continental only and the pool and gym were very busy. Dear Sarena M, We appreciate that you have taken the time to comment on your recent stay with us. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that was caused. At the moment, we are working on a visibility project to improve our signage. At this time of year, we are near capacity; as a result, the Fitness Centre tends to be...

Located one block away from Pan Pacific Hotel and Canada Place this hotel offers perfect alternative to the more expensive highrisers at the water front. Priced in the middle $200 it is close to everything you will probably need - city tours of many kinds, restaurants, Gas Town District, and more. Hotel lobby is very narrow and long, shared with...

Clean and functional. Comfortable bed. Mechanical system a little noisy. A little off the main foot traffic and business areas. Close to Skytrain and the waterfront. Only in house food source is a pub accessible one floor down on the other side of the building.

We could easily walk to board our ship (about three blocks) and the hotel is close to shopping, sightseeing, public transportation and all kinds of dining choices. The room is very comfortable, quiet and we enjoyed a very pleasant breakfast. We needed to...

We had little difficulty finding his hotel, as it is discretely tucked away, but once inside the lofty lobby, we were very well looked after. We had chosen a standard room for a two night stay, and it was excellent. We were able to walk the short distance from the cruise terminal, with plenty of bars and cafés to choose...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
