The position of this hotel is really good. Very convenient for Coal Harbour, Gas Town and Chinatown. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the harbour and snow capped mountains as well as the high rises of W Hastings street. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes...

We stay here for our association meetings a couple of times a year, It is always a nice stay, I know what to expect. The rooms are a decent size and always have a great view of the city. Kureg coffee machines in every room along with a mini fridge and microwave. Bathrooms are neat and clean. The breakfast room...

This hotel is in a great location! It is walking distance from many restaurants and shops, near the waterfront with a great views of the city. Breakfast is included which had a limited variety but enough to keep you satisfied. The rooms are clean and spacious with plenty of closet space. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom nice...

This was close to the convention center where we were attending a competition and as it was a non chain hotel we took a chance. Not impressed at all - rooms are small - unless you get an upgrade to a suite which our friends did and we didn't. Checked in at the same time with the same reservation which...

This is a very well located hotel, it's not fancy but neither is it austere. The rooms are generous and ours had a bathtub too. The bed was very comfortable and we had nice views. Front desk staff helpful too. The breakfast is the downside, it's in a small room and is just about adequate. Continental with cereal and boils...

We found this hotel through one of the booking apps/ websites. We got an unbelievable rate for the area of town it is in. So we were a bit nervous. No need, first class staff, service and accommodations. Beautiful views, great location in downtown near Gastown, the waterfront, Yaletown and many more. The King size room with pull out is...

Very minor, but both our room swipe cards quit on the second day but the...

We were able to walk to most places. And it is near the bus line to Granville Island. Or you can just walk the 3 miles, too. We took the BC Connector bus/ferry to Victoria for the third leg of the trip. The pick up spot was only around the corner from the Auberge. Very convenient.

Bedroom had a comfortable king bed, TV, desk and ample room to move around. Bathroom was centrally located between the living area and bedroom. The hotel was quiet both within the hotel...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
