modern and clean with heated tiles in the bathroom! Nice touch. Bed was comfortable and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Loved the little bar/restaurant there. Great waitress. My room had a view of the rooftop gardens.

Stayed there 2 nights and it was absolutely fine. Well located within Yaletown, you have plenty of restaurants just around the corner, the beaches and Granville Island are in walking distance. Service is very good.

The Opus was the perfect choice for a Vanvouver getaway. Amazing friendly staff, cool vibe and a restaurant, The Pentola, that blew us away! With a great Yaletown location we felt like we were close to everything. Can't wait for our next city 'stay-cation' and visit to Opus. Cheers!

My husband and I came to Vancouver to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The hotel was beautiful, great location and the staff was very helpful. Benjamin, checked us in upon our arrival, gave us restaurant recommendations as well as ideas of places to visit. We saw him again the next day and we again asked for more ideas, he was more...

The Opus is a GREAT location - although the hallways and lounge area may be a little - just a little - tired - the rooms are great and in wonderful condition. My wife and I stayed here four nights in early September 2013. We hadn't planned on staying there per se; rather, we got our reservation via a Hotels.com blind reservation, The property is located in Yaletown. If you aren't in Vancouver for business, this is a great place to stay. It's off the central business district, but it appears to...

It's all about service and this hotel offers it. Vancouver is an extremely bike friendly city, and this service oriented hotel provides the bikes for free. We had an amazing time riding around Stanley Park and the Seawall. The room was beautifully decorated and with nice amenities, such as an espresso coffee machine and L'Occitane products. Location could not be...

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
