After 1 night, my wife woke up early because her skin started to itch and guess what. We saw at least 3 bed bugs on the mattress (some already dead and full of blood.)! We checked below the mattress and found more bugs! Just disgusting! Staff told us that's not the first time so I have no idea why the...

We stayed here as a last resort as we left it too late to book anywhere else. It served the purpose, we literally slept there and we were more than happy, it was clean, convenient location and ridiculously cheap. Would stay again if we purely need a bed.

But after we checked the room out it was very clean, the beds were great and the staff were excellent. The place is old but they have kept it up pretty good. Lots of hot water, no bugs room ,cleaned...

I stayed here for 1 night in august 2014 when I was looking for a budget place for the night. Unfortunately they had only a smoking room available and the smell was pretty strong but I you are a smoker I guess you'll be fine. Room and bathroom were clean. Overall it was a nice experience and the guy at...

Great location but otherwise had nothing going for it. Decor extremely dated, old paintwork, old linens, thin blanket on bed. Window lock broken on first floor window, old lock on door.As a single woman traveling, I did not feel safe and slept poorly. Would not recommend.

Staying here for my last 4 days in Canada the staff have been very helpful and friendly room is clean and comfortably, bathroom is a little tired but i don't plan on spending that much time in there. Bed is very comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and shops with a bus stop out the front. This place is great value...

We stayed for 8 days. Very happy ,nice and value for money. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. The only fault we could find was the 2pm check in as we landed in Vancouver at 8am, but allowed to leave our luggage until we could check-in.

Considering how everything in Vancouver is expensive the price is pretty good. We just want the basics for a decent price and this fits the bill. There are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance. The wifi was fast and easy to log onto.

We stayed here about 2 weeks. It is basic, but clean and quiet in a fantastic location with great public transport. No laundry facilities, but Laundromat 5 blocks away. The staff are friendly. We stayed 10 days and were very pleased with room, then returned for 3 days and got a shabbier room, but still great value for money. My...

Staying in Southeast False Creek

Neighbourhood Profile
Southeast False Creek
Developed alongside the Vancouver Olympic Village for the 2010 Winter Games, a past fraught with hardship has recently been overcome, and builders are changing the landscape on the ground of Southeast False Creek at a rapid pace. With waterfront dining, ultra-modern facilities, sports stadiums, and a load of greenery, parks, and rest spots built into the ever-changing infrastructure, it's a fast-paced and mutable spot to see Vancouver taking shape and making history. It is especially popular for the casual sportsman, as the Seawall on the water makes for one of the most scenic locations for cycling or roller-blading, jogging or strolling.
