We stayed 2 nights here on our visit to Vancouver to board a cruise. We had been here in the 80's, and remembered Vancouver as a really cool place. This hotel is in a great location to jump to the various hot spots like Granville...More
This is very much a typical Holiday Inn. It’s in a typical downtown location which means it’s well located for the shops, bars, restaurants and attractions. It has typical HI bedrooms which means you are pretty much guaranteed a good nights rest. The breakfast is...More

I say half a night because we were up at 2.30am for a 3am taxi to the airport !
However, we slept well (from 8pm !) in...More
Was skeptic with the reservation till I got here.
Location is convenient.
The staff are friendly and the ambience is good.
Rooms are cleaned daily and well.
Disappointing thing though was the breakfast options being limited.
Loved it in general.
Stayed twice in September either side of Alaska cruise. Room very clean and comfortable. Most annoying thing was the lack of and quality of the two small elevators from the lobby. There are no stairs to choose as an alternative. On our second stay one...More
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
