This is my second trip taking my students and some children to Vancouver and our second stay at Manor Guest House. Honestly, this is a great place to stay and many friends in Taiwan are planning to book with them after our recent trip, which...More
My husband and I recently had a wonderful stay at The Manor. We live in Vancouver but had given our home to visiting relatives. So we decided to take a holiday in our own city and chose to stay at a B&B that had been...More
We stayed at the Manor guest house for 9 nights from Aug 29 to Sep 7. The location of the guest house is quite good, being well connected to bus and train services. Quiet, excellent neighbourhood with access to restaurants and super marts.
A lovely B&B in a 100 yr old house on a quiet street in bustling Vancouver. It's obvious that the house is old as the wooden floors creek, there is no air conditioning and the bathrooms are very small (smaller than what we had once...More
Room dull and furniture worn and uncomfortable. Shared kitchenette filthy, no cutlery and a microwave that didnt work. Garden furniture filthy and patio a mess. Manager sarcastic when we arrived a little early for breakfast. Charged for my full stay on day one so little...More
Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Shaughnessy is Vancouver's most verdant plotted neighbourhood, and its tree-lined streets, walking routes, bike trails, and charming public parks make for an ideal location to spend and afternoon communing with nature. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the
city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes. Quiet, elegant Shaughnessy excels at providing the Three Gs: Gardens, Golfing, and Galleries.
