We've stayed at The Granville Island Hotel several times in the past and love it there. We always go back and recommend it to our friends. It's nice to be just outside of Vancouver with easy access to the city, and lots of fun walking around the island. Plenty to do and see there including the Market, eateries, views, and...

We had a truly amazing dirts class experience, from the moment we checked into this fine, boutique hotel every effort was made by the staff to make our stay a really special experience. The comfortable room along with the balcony which overlooked the harbour with it's array of boats and activity was fascinating. We have stayed in hotels around the world, The...

Especially loved to be close to the public market which was a surprise for us.. we had snacks and breakfast there, very convenient and great food! The close by distillery was a great spot to have some cocktails as well. The room was clean with a nice marina view. The hotel is so close to downtown, if you don't want...

Poor service and mediocre food in the restaurant. We generally found the restaurant staff to be quite inattentive. There were much better food choices outside the hotel on Granville Island. This is the only hotel on the island and perhaps that makes the staff not care. The exception was the front desk staff. Two of the front desk staff made...

While feeling hesitant bc of the dayed exterior, the interior of this hotel is gorgeously updated. The king suite was spacious and classy. The restaurant menu and food was pwrfect. Loved the gliten free options.

The room was very nice, although they have a packed (and locked) mini-bar and no refrigerator in the room, which always feels odd to me. It's like "you have to pay for our beverages, not bring a bottle of wine or soda of your own to the room." Not a big deal -- as it was cold enough, we just...

Always wanted to stay at the Granville Island Hotel, so when the opportunity arose we took it. Beautiful location, very relaxing atmosphere, loved being so close to the Market. The room was large and very cozy, and other than having to move the microwave so we could plug it in we had no complaints.

Mostly friendly and very clean place. I would recommend. My biggest complaint was noise from restaurant right below us (only on the weekend). We were a stone's throw from the sea walk which leads to town and to the beach. Very nice.

Location! Location! Location! Perfect place to stay and fell in love with the market at Granville Isand. Spent lots of time and money there with all the fresh food options and interesting assortment of shopping vendors for something special. The hotel itself was pretty good for the most part, just not so much the room. It was nice to be...

One of the favoured neighbourhoods for a day out, Granville Island's packed theatres and art studios, hobby shops and book stores, restaurants and bars, all offer a plethora of activities and entertainment options, leaving no one bored. The highlight of the area is the Fisherman's Wharf, where the seagulls overhead and the smell of the sea invigorate its many visitors, some of who are there to shop the fresh wares at the public market, and others of whom have arrived to take in the eclectic atmosphere.
