After having to cancel another booking in Vancouver we chose this guest house. We were not disappointed. The house itself is charming and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the front door. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean. As...More

Dear Angela and Paul. It was great to have you over Christmas, if only for one night! Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate your kind words and are glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope to welcome you again one day. All the best!
The welcome was like visiting your relatives home. This bed and breakfast is clean, and felt like home with an amazing location. The warmth of the fireplace and the historical setting while sitting having a glass of wine and snacks is something to remember. Our...More

I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us so much. We look forward to seeing you again.
We like to go into downtown Vancouver occasionally to shop, have dinner, see a show and stay over night. Staying at the West End Guest House is like a holiday far from home, yet its only a 45 minute drive from our home. It is...More

Dear Laura and Al, thank you so much for your feedback. It would be great to have you staying again when you are visiting Vancouver for a little getaway again. Until then, all the best.
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
