What can I say. Other reviews are bang on. Stayed two nights and enjoyed the room. It was a little dated but clean. Great location and value for the dollar. The bed was comfy but the box spring was bare and a little dingy looking, but I am a bit of a freak when it comes to the bed. Walking...

This hotel is part of my timeshare group. Has studio, one and two bedroom suites available. All have kitchenettes and most Kuerig coffee makers. Upper floor studio had a huge balcony with a great view of the downtown and north shore. On Robson so shopping and a variety of dining options available Transit is nearby. Small liquor store and full...

We rented a block of rooms at the Rosedale for a family wedding. We stayed for a full week, but most people stayed for a long weekend. Staff were courteous and helpful (other than the concierge who seemed very bored and not interested in his customers). The location is downtown very close to BC Place and close to Yaletown and...

Stayed here August and again in September. Only a couple of nights each time but found the hotel, comfortable, clean and handy to Vancouver sights. Walking distance to the sea taxis to get to Granville Island. Easy walk to bus stops to travel to sights further afield. Stanley Park, Capillano Swing bridge, Gastown, etc. The large rooms were very quiet...

Stayed 9 nights here in early September 2015. This hotel is in walking distance to the centre of the city. Around the corner from the hop on hop off bus stop & other tour buses. Had a room on the north east side of the building, no noise from within the hotel or from outside. Just 2 blocks to the...

Nice hotel in a good location that is walking distance to the Commodore Ballroom, Vogue Theatre, Orpheum Theatre and Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Staff seem on edge and more concerned about security than ensuring guests have a good stay. I was confronted when getting a coffee in the morning and asked in an abrupt and confrontational manner to display my room...

Dear KTColleen: Thank you for your comments. I do apologize for our less than friendly conversation with you. As for why we check your room key. First not everyone in the building is entitled to the continental buffet breakfast due to being from the Timeshare or not paying a rate that includes the breakfast. Second, people from the neighbourhood, such...

Large room with a view over downtown Vancouver. Very close to the football stadium. Very clean and comfortable, great coffee machine!!. Will stay again next time we visit. Minor crit - The swimming pool is great for kids but far too narrow for serious swimming.

We have stayed at the Rosedale on several occasions now and have always enjoyed our experience and this stay was no difference. In light of it being an extremely busy weekend, the service we received was top notch! Thankyou

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
