Second time we have stayed here... rooms were clean but not overly spacious but comfortable. Lifts seriously couldn't cope with a full hotel...take the stairs...great Central location... restaurant average but easy.

Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Close to shopping and Chinatown, easy walking distance to most places. Close to a lot of fine restaurants. Clean modern rooms, very comfortable. The second floor tends to be noisier than upper floors. Mostly from traffic, sirens and Original Joes music.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at the Rosedale. It is good to hear that our staff were friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants in the neighbourhood offering a variety of cuisines. At least 68 within a few blocks.

Great location. You can walk to everything if you have protection from the rain and don't mind being on your feet all day (30 min walk to either side of Vancouver). Rooms are comfortable and clean if not a little old, but that adds to the style of the hotel. Breakfast is ok. There is also a good pub/ sports...

Thank you for your review about the Rosedale. I will pass on your comments to Original Joe's that is just off our lobby.

Stayed only one night but it was great. We arrived early and our room was ready, even an upgrade. Room was spacious, clean, bright and even though we did not use the kitchenette it would be great for families. Easy walking distance to shopping on Granville & Robson. Close to Rogers Arena, BC Place and QE Theatre and False Creek,...

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Rosedale on Robison. Great location, Yale town 5 min walk. Granville 10. Always polite and attentive service. Complimentary breakfast just okay. But otherwise everything else was great. Like that it is a mini apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was really nice with a comfortable king bed. There were huge windows all around to take in the views of the city by day and night. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and little parks. We actually walked over to the False Creek area and then spent the day...

We had a great stay at Rosedale on Robson. We arrived on 3rd Jan for 3 nights and were able to check in despite it being a few hours early. Room was good with basic kitchen facilities, lounge area, separate bedroom with 2 double beds free wifi and good size tv. Laundries are on every second level with 1 coin...

I booked this accommodation for a one-night stay following an event in the city. The price was very reasonable, surpassing all other similar hotels in the downtown area. This hotel is in Yaletown, accessible to lots of night life, dining and shopping, including the theatres and arenas - all within walking distance. I was immediately upgraded to a suite on...

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your stay at the Rosedale. With regard to recycling we are exploring opportunities where possible. We did test a variety of amenity dispensers for about a year and the guest comments were not favourable. We are still seeing where we can improve in our recycling program and as product...

We stayed here twice, on the way to Whistler, and on our return. The first stay was better as we had 'newer' rooms, the second room was a family one and it was quite old and smelt damp. The breakfast included was great and the location was perfect. The concierge was. not the best, both days he could not help...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I apologize for our Bell Services staff lack of empathy. We will review the matter with them. The suites are in the process of being update with the first phase due for completion later this month. With regard to Original Joe's they do have room service so I will mention your concern to them....

We got a corner room which has a decent sized bedroom as well as decent sized living room but the kitchen and bath are very small. Also had to wait to get checked in for about a half hour as there were only two receptionists checking in many people ahead of us and one of the receptionists was a trainee...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Rosedale. As for the slowness at check-in, I apologize. We normally carry extra staff when training is being done so I will check into this matter. I will pass on your comments to Original Joe's and Waffle Bant.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
