The owner/manager of this hotel had one large dog that is kept in the open parkade who barks for the owner's entire shift. He now has another dog, a puppy, who does the same so there are two yelping dogs for HOURS on end. When we asked him about it, he told us, in not so nice of terms, to...

I was recently down in Vancouver last minute for a conference the entire city seemed to be sold out and I simply needed a place to sleep. Off to a popular travel site and ended up on this option (notice I don't say hotel) upon our arrival the disappointment set in. Construction material in the hallway, random access panels wide...

This was a very last minute choice. All other hotels were booked solid and prices were quite expensive. This hotel was also expensive, but had no choice. The location is pretty good as it's within walking distance of many restaurants and downtown area of vancouver. Got to the hotel and found the lobby to be in complete mayhem...apparently they had...

This is an older property on Robson Street in Vancouver. The renovations & updating are great. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite which included a kitchen. It was spacious & roomy. The bed was very comfortable. There was underground parking. The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly & efficient. Great location on Robson Street within walking distance of wonderful...

To start with, my hotel room number was written in permanent marker. At checkin, they have a person who just watches the desk siting there. They have to call the money guy who comes after a few minutes. The room had a bathroom, bedroom and kitchen, so large but everything was circa 1980 and all polyester. It was honestly the...

This individual failed to mention that the FIFA Womens World Cup was on during his stay over and our rates were based on market rates indicative to proximity of the FIFA event held at BC Place. We are a 2 star accredited property ( Tourism BC approved ). While I dont take person offence to the term the money guy,...

I am being a victim of timing , booked this hotel but total disappointed. I paid parking ticket due to wrong guidance and refusal to give me parking... The rooms are also not impressive. They did not offered a free breakfast and every thing is over priced....

The guest was redirected to an alternate paid parking lot since our parking lots was full, He decided to park on the street instead and as such received a city parking ticket. I believe this guest was simply upset and noted his frustration on this site.

I saw the photos of this hotel and was really worried we would be staying in a run-down dive, but I was pleasantly suprised that this was not the case. Even though the decor is severely outdated, the bathroom had new fixtures (great shower), the towels and linens were crisp and clean, the mattresses were firm and carpeting was newer...

We found ourselves needing a room in Vancouver during a very busy weekend and the Robsonstrasse was the only available room we could find last minute. The room was adequate. No bells and whistles. Dated decor but clean enough. Window A/C unit loud but worked. Staff friendly enough. I would stay again ONLY if all other hotels in Van were...

Stayed here last night as hotels in Vancouver were impossible to get due to the FIFA women's soccer. The owners were very friendly and provided us garaged parking for our motorcycles. The owner immediately announced that the hotel was under renovation, which it was. The rooms were clean but old fashioned, probably last renovated in the 70's. The reception and...

First, the location is great. Most of sightseeing places are near. I can walk to see them. Staffs on the hotel are very kind. Room is little bit old style, but large enough. Everything I need is inside.

As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs.
