The location of the inn is super impressive. It is quiet and peaceful and at the same time quite near to the important places like the Stanley Park and then the views is pretty good from the rooms as well. The rooms are well maintained and well provided for and the hosts were friendly and helpful that we never had...

We had the good fortune to stay at the English Bay B&B recently. What a find and all thanks to Trip Advisor. So much better than staying at a corporate hotel and more than comparable on price (ie it was a lot cheaper). The B&B is well situated in English Bay and it is not far to work to most...

I stayed at this Inn for a couple of nights in October, and it was one of the better stays I've had in Vancouver. It is an independent bed and breakfast, so there are a few things you don't get as with a regular hotel. But the tradeoffs are well worth it. Check in: Because it is a B&B there...

The English Bay Inn (not to be confused with the English Bay Hotel) is a charming bed and breakfast hotel located near to Stanley Park and English Bay. Easy walk to the downtown shopping areas. Very convenient for wide range of good restaurants, huge variety of ethnic and Canadian places to eat. The rooms are not huge, but have charm...

We visited here this summer and found the location to be the best reason to stay here. The other guests were delightful and we enjoyed talking with them. No in room coffee or tea and no kitchen privileges were a drawback.

We recently stayed at the English Bay Inn during our trip to Vancouver. Our stay was absolutely amazing. We arrived early in the morning, way before check in, and the staff was very accommodating to get our room ready as soon as possible and called us when it was done. Alberto went out of his way to help us find...

The location of the English Bay Inn is perfect. A lovely walk to Stanley Park and the seawall. Our host, Alberto, was charming as well as an amazing chef. We spent three comfortable nights here topped off by the best three breakfasts we've ever experienced in our B&B stays throughout the world.

The first thing which strikes me about this property is the location at English Bay. Surrounded by technicolour gardens and minutes from the beach, eateries and walking distance from central Vancouver this location is ideal for somebody who wants to be close in while still in a residential district rather than downtown. Rooms were spacious and tastefully furnished. Hosts extremely...

We stayed at the Inn for two nights while exploring Vancouver. The staff were welcoming and the breakfasts hit the right note - tasty and healthy! The location worked for us - we walked downtown and also used the bus system and being close to Stanley Park and English Bay was a plus. Highly recommend it as an alternative to...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
