Looks nice and staff is friendly, but there were unforeseen problems. Keys didn't work after check in. Restaurant kitchen closes 30 minutes before restaurant. Safe not working other than that this place is so so

Wanted to spend just a night in vancouver and this hotel was in downtown, close to everything. We have 2 small kids (4 & 2) and we jz used the stroller to go to the resto and grocery. Also not far from attractions. Room was spacious at the 28th floor. Kinda noisy though from the traffic below. Shower needs improvement....

We are staying at this hotel for three nights. We have two separate rooms. One for my wife and I on the 7th floors. My two sons are on the 23rd floor. It would have been nicer to be closer. The rooms are clean and very spacious. My wife and my room has a Queen bed which is very comfortable....

We stayed here for 5 nights and thought it was a super hotel! Our room was on the 26th floor and had amazing views of the city. The suite was huge and was ideal for 4 of us, giving us all the space we needed! The hotel is in an ideal location too- a 2 minute walk to a supermarket,...

Stayed June 2016 As you can see this was our first hotel we stayed at on this holiday. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Booking in was straightforward. We had a room on the 29th floor overlooking the front of the hotel with a great view down to the water. The bed was great and the...

Great location and friendly staff. Walking distance to shopping as well as a few local bars. Rooms are cozy & clean. The cafe can offer a bit more but overall pretty decent. I think this place is really good for families, not very romantic for a couples get-away.

We chose this hotel based on convenient location and after reading reviews, which advised requesting a room on floor 24 or 25. We got floor 26. Everything about the hotel was good, except for the frequent noise from sirens. Maybe the hotel glazing needs an upgrade to improve sound insulation performance.

Perfect location for exploring Vancouver. The hotel is just in the right place for local shops / supermarkets, close enough to walk to attractions (recommend Granville Island for a real local flavour). Staff were very welcoming and friendly, the rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were so comfortable! There was a very handy kitchen area with kettle, oven...

Very nice hotel in reasonable downtown location. We had a suite comprising separate bedroom, living area and full kitchen - great for a city hotel. Only downside was the noise during the night from the nearby ambulance bay - even though we were on the 22nd floor!

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
