I could not leave it without attention! We stayed in this hotel on March 22 for a night, and were checked in by a front desk agent, who smelled alcohol!!! What a great first impression!!? I believe his name was Doug. We travel pretty often, and it was our first time with my family in this beautiful hotel. In general...

The room was nice and big. It was clean and it was a good location and value. However I preordered breakfast and they were late delivering. The restaurant was average as well. Front desk was nice and helpful.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Room came with a voucher for the restaurant although we didnt have time to use it but it's good for drinks as well as breakfast. King suite was awesome on the 27th floor. Ocean views from the south west window, city views from the balcony, full kitchen, full living area and separate king bedroom with...

Good value for a central downtown Vancouver location. Very friendly staff. Nice view, clean room. We would stay again and recommend to others. It was nice to have a full kitchen. We received a free $25 voucher for the restaurant, which was nice food and great service.

This is a hotel that tries hard. The room is dated which is fine... but it He bed was terrible. Location and service was excellent. Spas and restaurants top notch. A lot of detail was spent trying to upgrade the experience but dated rooms and terrible beds made the experience less than pleasant.

If you like cold showers then this is the hotel for you. Serious issues with hot water. Not just our room. Several guests riding in the elevator were asking us if we'd had the same experience of ice cold showers.

The parking lot is absolutely disgusting. I wouldn't stay in the hotel again because of this. Not to mention the signs of where to park were non-existent and the hotel concierge didn't tell us how to navigate this or how to get from there either. it was awfulThe head concierge or manager was quite rude when I mentioned the issues...

This hotel is in a great location within walking distance of great shopping and sight seeing. I like the spacious rooms and the complimentary shampoo and body wash are the best! The only drawback of this hotel is there are a lot of sirens you can hear through the night. This is just a location issue but other than that...

At half the price of the Four Seasons and Pan Pacific, this hotel is a rare find and probably a hotel you have not heard of. Save some money and try this hotel. You will not be disappointed. Their C Prime dining room is five star for steak and wine lovers.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
