Having just returned from staying at the Marriott in Rio (Brazil) where I received the best service, I was disappointed at the service (which was bordering at rudeness) of the check in clerk. I dontb think there was any excuse for his behavior. Contrary to the service received by the front office clerk, the service at the lounge and the...

We very much enjoyed our anniversary celebration stay at the Marriott Pinnacle Hotel. The rooms are unique in that the outside walls of this hotel are curved, affording great views of the city and harbor. The room we stayed in was quite large with king size bed and plenty of space for sitting, lounging, watching TV and the views (from...

Overall, a good hotel with typical Marriott hospitality. Only the size of the room was a negative. There were no king bedrooms available so we were given a room with two twins. The room was too small to accommodate two beds. The shower stall was also very small with barely enough room to bend over. Other than that, service was...

My husband and I spent the first 2 nights of our honeymoon here and wished we had stayed out entire trip. They put us on a high floor which we love and the view was wonderful as we love to look out at the rain. Being from Southern California we rarely get rain so the rain was quite lovely to...

High value option, room for 4 is very comfortable. The bathtub is a bit small, I try to fill up the water the same height as my neck but it didn't work out well, recommend to expand it larger. The working system was different: they will charge you for deposit before your stay and you will be refunded at the...

We stayed one night at the Marriott Pinnacle in downtown Vancouver prior to embarking on a cruise. The hotel is well located by the harbor and the convention center. It is an active and interesting area to walk. Everything in the hotel is first class. Even things like plumbing fixtures and tile work were of very high quality. The hotel...

My daughter and I stayed here and found the location ideal for the harbour, shops and Canada Place. There is an excellent restaurant in the hotel or there are lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. We were offered an upgrade which we accepted as the room was ready when we arrived. We were not disappointed as there...

Needed a hotel close to Canada Place for our cruise - stayed only 1 night, enjoyed the time although short. Didn't get to fully appreciate all the amenities. Short walk to 7-11 for late night snack. Busy restaurant, so a walk to Tim Hortons for morning coffee! Room was a tad small, but very clean, modern and comfortable. Helpful, professional...

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our tour of the Rockies. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable.Breakfast was good.A very busy hotel, but we felt the hotel was more for business and wi-fi was only free in the lobby, quite expensive in your room.Nicely situated within easy reach of the harbour and shops.Overall though,a good hotel.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
