Consistency is the hallmark of a good stay at a Marriott hotel and this hotel ticked all the boxes especially the staff, thank you Serrina who worked the breakfast shift for your helpful suggestions on where best to watch the fireworks. A useful facility for guests is the free 15 minute parking at the side of the hotel while you... More

We recently stayed at the Inn for five nights. The gentleman who checked us in could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had come from Seattle with a ton of laundry and it was so easy and cheap to get all our clothes cleaned. The room was well appointed and even had a nice balcony. There was a... More

Stayed here for 5 nights. Very good location, walked everywhere. Tour bus stops right outside, which was very convenient. Reception staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Rooms were bright, spacious and very clean, which is the most important thing for a guest. Having a laundry room was great and the front of desk staff were quite happy to... More

Dear Stav A, Thank you for your review and feedback. I'm pleased to see you enjoyed your stay, but sorry to see your comments about breakfast. It is definitely the most popular hotel amenity and for a more relaxed experience we recommend coming early. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to Vancouver. We went up to Vancouver for a 3-day holiday. Customer service at this hotel was top notch. The rooms, while small for a Residence Inn, the layout made it still feel spacious and the suite was very well appointed. While the balcony was an unexpected bonus, this hotel loses one start because there were so many cigarette butts just below... More

Dear Cedar F, Thank you for your review and comments. I'm delighted you were pleased with the service, hotel and wifi. Please accept our apologies for the unsightliness of the cigarette butts. This is a 100% non-smoking hotel which includes room balconies by city by-law. Its truly unfortunate that you were inconvenienced by this lack of courtesy. I will share... More

This is a very coveniant place to stay in Vancouver. Hop on Hop off bus stops in front of the hotel giving access to both the city toir and park tour routes. Service at the hotel was very good both at the front desk as well as the restaurant.

We were able to check in early at about 11AM. Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was comfortable with two large queen beds. Modern bathroom. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood. If you're into Vietnamese food, I recommend Saigon Venture on Burrard St. It's an informal cafe (we actually hesitated walking in because of its tired look) that... More

Great rooms, great breakfast, great staff, all great. Nice to have the extras of an in-room kitchen even though a full breakfast is included every day. The outside patio was a nice option. Convenient and fair price for parking under the hotel.

Stayed with my family on a recent visit to Vancouver. Roma lovely and clean but pity that there are two large building projects happening on two sides of the hotel. Many restaurants within walking distance. 24 hr bakery across the street with delicious cakes, pastries, sandwiches and hot beverages for midnight snacks.

This hotel has comfy beds and big rooms. I left 2 pairs of shoes in the closet and they mailed them to me with no problem. Excellent customer service. 5 blocks to beach and short taxi to Gas Town. Take on/off bus around the town then definitely go to Suspension Bridge

Staying in Davie Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
