Very friendly and helpful staff. I was there on business. My room was a corner room on the 21st floor. It was very large with a kingsize bed. Had a lounge chair and a desk. A lot of floor space. The bathroom was a nice size and clean. Was very quiet.

Usually stay here or The Westin when in Vancouver. Location is great on Burrard Street, near most attractions, waterfront etc. Few minutes walk to Mall and slightly further to YaleTown for dining. Hotel has a great bar on mezzanine above lobby for lunch and client meetings. Rooms were as expected with large balconies. Staff attentive and took care of my...

I recently stayed here for several days on business and hotel is simply beautiful and perfectly located in the centre of town, just minutes away from high end shopping and numerous restaurants. The hotel offers numerous amenities and the rooms are very well appointed. Having a Starbucks in the lobby and a Tim Hortons next door were a real bonus....

Well, great location with great views, comfy room and the decoration and amenities look modern. I'd say the breakfast and the refreshments in the evening are very good at the club lounge (if you can get in). It's probably better than Marriott or Hilton hotels of the same level. The room looks big, but the insulation is probably thin, you...

Hyatt Regency is located right in downtown vancouver within walking distance of shopping malls and great restaurants. The hotel rooms are adequate and modern. Self parking is available and if you are bringing a car then just park at the hotel itself. Downtown parking is expensive everywhere. Wifi is free which is nice surprise since most top star hotels nowadays...

Next to Burrard metro station and in fact its underground linked via the shopping mall attached to the hotel. Many tour buses/day tours/whistler buses stop outside the hotel due to its location next to Burrard Metro. Definitely a plus point for convenience. Rooms are also refurbished, TV is HD crystal clear, but the corridors looked old. No problems with the...

I stayed here recently on business for 4 days and the hotel is centrally located in the heart of the city right next to the subway and provides excellent accommodations. There's also an abundance of restaurants and shopping within a few minutes walk. I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

Love the hotel, rooms and hallways complete redo even the elevators. However with a 500+ person convention I was stuck waiting 15 min on the 27th floor to go down. 2 women said they walked up as they got tired of waiting downstairs! Once the convention subsided they were fine. Would stay here again as its central and staff were...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
