First of all, we booked through Hotwire so we got a very good rate which has obviously influenced this review. Stayed 3 nights with my wife and toddler, all the staff were extremely accommodating, providing a baby cot as well as hot water (for baby milk) whenever we asked - there was unfortunately no kettle in the room. They also...

For the price, this hotel is okay. It is our third hotel this trip to Vancouver, 6th hotel ever in Vancouver. It is in last place. Since we paid $150 a night during a busy week in Vancouver, and the staff were nice, I will forgive some of the holiday inn vibe. If you are sensitive to noise, this is...

The rooms were small and did not have the greatest ammentities however the location was great. About a block from the main strip on Granville with plenty of nightlife and restaurants to enjoy.Offsite parking is also inconvienent and hard to find, make sure to stop at the lobby first.

This was a nice hotel. Although a bit more than I normally spend and with rooms that are a bit small, they made good use of space in cabinets that held coffee maker, fridge, etc. The staff was very helpful, getting us parked and storing bags even though we arrived early. Also printed trolley tickets for us. Great location within...

Close to Robson, rail station major malls and restaurants. Within walking distance to Chinatown. The hotel room is small, and fortunately, we booked a junior suite. Modern design with a refurbished antique elevator which work quite well. If not you can take the stairs if the wait time is too long since the building is not very tall. I was...

The hotel has a good location and the front desk offers a very good service but the smell in the room is terrible, it seems very few people disregard the non smoking rules and the odor is impregnated The breakfast is poor and expensive If you have another choice for the same cost try it

The staff at the Moda Hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and neat. Easily accessible with the handy elevator. Close to theater, shopping and restaurants. I would stay there again if ever in Vancouver.

The Pros: Front Desk staff was very courteous and helpful. This hotel is reasonably close to the cruise ship port and we got off our Disney Cruise at 8:30am and had no trouble with having our luggage stored before our room was ready. The Canada Line train is only 3 blocks away which is great. You are also a 25-30min...

The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Downtown Vancouver. It's also a 5-10 minute walk from the trendy Gastown area and a 5 minute cab ride to English Bay. The staff could not have been more helpful; upon check-in the receptionist recommended a great seafood restaurant in English Bay and booked us a table. The breakfast was both...

Located three blocks from the airport train, and less than a mile from the Convention Center and Granville Island, it is a couple of blocks from the heart of the shopping district and a couple blocks from an upscale neighborhood. it is the ideal place to stay for those who prefer a small boutique hotel to large international chains or...

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
