I had a fabulous stay at the St Regis Hotel. The hotel is in a great location, right in the midst of everything. They offer a free breakfast, free international calls, free wireless. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and always happy to see me and greet me. My room was a good size, very clean and modern. Bed... More

My wife and I spent one night at the St. Regis before cruising out of Vancouver. We chose this hotel because it is so close to the cruise ship pier at Canada Place. It still took awhile to get there because we were competing with the passengers of three cruise ships departing Vancouver on the same day. The hotel room... More

Had a wonderful stay at the St Regis in Vancouver for five nights. The list of positives for this hotel is very long: Excellent location, reasonably priced, delicious free breakfast, friendly service, well equipped (albeit slightly small) rooms, and a good free wifi connection. Only qualm was that the single elevator was a bit busy and cramped at times. However,... More

Whether you are staying in Vancouver for a week or more or just overnight to catch a cruise this is the hotel to stay in. Conveniently located to downtown Vancouver, cruise ship dock and Gastown. About a 30 minute ride from the airport by taxi ($40 - including tip) or by Skytrain. The rooms are super clean, modern and up... More

My husband and I stayed in the St. Regis for a weekend after finishing a cruise. The staff was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and spent a lot of time telling us about the amenities at the hotel and some of the most interesting places to visit around the city. Our room was ready early and it had... More

Excellent hotel! Beautiful rooms are always clean, staff is very friendly and knowlegable. I would highly recommend this hotel for Vancouver visitors! The hotel is within walking distance to most downtown attractions, including Gas Town. The complimentary breakfast is always great!

Great location to walk or get transport anywhere. Really central. Ask for a room at the front 3rd floor or above. We asked for above 2nd n got 2nd floor and it was still a bit noisy (mainly traffic - this is a city!) lovely room but slightly funny smell in room. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough... We stayed at the St Regis Hotel for seven nights during a recent trip to British Columbia. The hotel is situated in the heart of downtown. On arrival you can park outside for three minutes whilst the staff brings your luggage in, You are issued with a parking pass and turn left down the alleyway to a very secure parking... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
