My wife and I spent 4 nights at the St. Regis in June, 2013 on our first visit to Vancouver. We chose it because it was a small hotel, included breakfast in the room rate, was located right next to a station for the Sky Train from the airport and just a few blocks from Canada Place, Gas Town, and...

We stayed at the St. Regis for three nights in June, 2013. We appreciated the amenities (free made-to-order breakfast, wifi, Fuji water, long distance). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Diana who is at the front desk in the evening. She knew the answers to all of our questions about the city and recommended good places to eat...

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for 5 days during the month of March 2013. It is a small hotel, which I prefer. The service was very personable. I never opened the door for myself nor called for the elevator. I was there on a business trip, so I really appreciated the free internet and telephone calls...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Really enjoyed Vancouver it’s a great city – there’s plenty to pass away a week alone in just the city. I had also stayed in Seattle for 3 nights but there’s way more to do in Vancouver – make sure to check out the dolphins in the aquarium and also the Vancouver trolley hop on...

The St. Regis is a good hotel for its class. Rooms are relatively compact with very well-appointed bathrooms. There are nice touches like free telephone, hot breakfasts and bottled water. The finishings are fairly new and well-maintained and everything in the room works! Good selections for the HD TV as well. While the location of the hotel is central it...

This was my first stay at the St. Regis, for a professional conference. I actually switched a reservation at a larger chain hotel to this one based on a colleague's recommendation noting the more central location, service and complimentary hot breakfast with lots of choices. My room was clean and I appreciated the wall panel of built-in power plugs including...

The St. Regis is a very classy and reasonably priced hotel in a great location. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff is exceptionally competent (Juan and Dianna were especially helpful). Additionally, the hot (free) breakfast choices, free worldwide phone calls and the bedside Beligum chocolate squares assures the "best bet" hotel value in Vancouver!

This hotel was great, nice rooms with ensuites. Not massive but more than adequate by city standards. The staff were all excellent, making you feel very welcome and always passing the time of day whenever they saw you. Full of information and advice if you needed it. Nice touch with the complimentary chocolates and water bottles every day. Can't find...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
