This well located boutique hotel has almost everything, and it all works! Supposedly geared to the business traveller, but we saw a lot of families, too. The room has a separate sitting area, 2 TV's. 2 basins in the bathroom, places to put one's stuff, drawers, closets, fridge, working a/c and free wi-fi, free telephone calls, plus breakfast! The b'fast...

The St. Regis Hotel has a beautiful boutique environment. Its location makes it easy to get around in downtown Vancouver. It is evident when entering the hotel that the support staff are focused on meeting the needs of their guests. However, the Manager of the hotel was disappointing and less than cordial. My husband and I stayed at the St....

Very central location with short walks to the main parts of downtown. Good sized comfy rooms, nice breakfast although slightly too restricted on the options. Free wifi and phone calls. Only thing missing was fridge in room. Recommended

This was a great hotel in a great location. The staff was extremely helpful. The bathroom was huge and the room comfortable overall, especially the bed. Lots of little perks - complimentary water each day, chocolates on the pillow, great breakfast. You needed to use your key card to access the elevator, which made the hotel feel especially safe.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working in our room the night of our stay. Being on the second floor with no window screen and access to a roof area we did not sleep with the window open. However, what makes this experience worth mentioning was the professional way in which it was handled. The English Bay fireworks display was...

We had no complaints. It’s an old Hotel so the rooms are not big but everything about the place was great. Our room was very clean and the employees were all very accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was very nice…a sit down, order off of the menu breakfast. And the food was very good. Also it was in a great location...

This hotel is excellent in every way. The renovation is done with quality materials and it is quite beautiful. Our arrival went smoothly. Our room was perfect. The bed was so comfortable with nothing but the finest linens. There was a safety box in the closet which was very reassuring. We had drinks and a snack at the bar attached...

We were very impressed with our stay. We spent two nights pre-cruise. Had a quiet room on the 4th floor. Impressed with the free amenities - wifi, water bottles, and a full breakfast service. Walking distance to Canada Place, although we took a taxi with our luggage on cruise day (less than $10). Great restaurants and shopping nearby. We would...

This hotel is well maintained and well decorated and offers various perks, such as free breakfast and WiFi, but the rooms are tiny and the noise from the street is a constant nuisance. We booked 8 nights at this hotel and, despite having requested a quiet room, were given a tiny and incredibly noisy room on the 2nd floor, almost...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. “We had three of us in a bedroom with double beds. Beds size is a little small for two but because of its historic nature, the room size is set. Overall, the room was comfortable and very clean and nicely appointed. Would definitely go there again.”
