We stayed at the Coast for two nights with our young kids. Our room was spacious with an amazing view! The kids loved the pool which was very warm. I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna! What stood out to us the most were the amazing staff!!! We will definitely be back again!

Great location and close to everything on English Bay but severely overpriced for an old apartment building that has been converted into a suite hotel. Very old style and rooms and bathrooms have not been updated. Staff even look tired in old style uniforms. Restaurant has been updated but very sterile and cold looking with zero character. Refuse container left...

Our room has a living room, bedroom, kitchen, small dining area, bathroom and balcony. The bed is comfy, the couch is not. It is very dated, but it serves the purpose. There are so many great restaurants right by here in walking distance. There is a grocery store on the corner if you want to cook your own food too....

Hotel Location is perfect, west end, close to restaurants, two blocks from the beach, Stanley Park, transportation, parking and OUTSTANDING VIEWS. The building is probably 40 years old, as well as the furniture, but when things were built to last for ever. If you like modern decor, this hotel is not for you. On the other hand if you like...

Although the suite was nice and large with beautiful views, it was very outdated. The bed was so hard I had to sleep on the couch. We stayed in a 2 bedroom king suite. The TV's were small and not HD. The tub was really old and I wouldn't want to have a bath in it. The shower had really...

Not a bad hotel! In the heart of the Davie /Denmann village area. The room was clean and the hotel staff were friendly. There are plenty of amenities to keep you busy and there is such great food only a step away from English Bay. I would recommend again !

This hotel is in a beautiful neighbourhood. You can't beat the location or friendliness of staff. While it isn't upscale it feels like home. Larger rooms studios with kitchen and living area great for a multi-day stay. Restaurants, and beach just outside. The joining building also has a pharmacy and grocery store so its the perfect place. I've stayed here...

i recently stayed in this hotel in Vancouver and was extremely satisfied with both the service and the accommodations provided, for a reasonable price. The view from our room was spectacular and I found the staff to be most helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The hotel is centrally located to everything - with dining facility,...

Great location, amazing staff and they really make you feel at home. The facility is very old and that's ok but no wifi in my room and it stunk a little. Enough that I wouldn't book there again. It's time for an update.

The hotel has great location, it locate in walking distant to many restaurant. The front desk and concierge were helpful in providing information we need. The reason that prevent us come back to the hotel is the cleanliness. The room was very musty that I have to purchase the air fresh to help eliminate the odor, carpet was dirty not...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.

“The room sizes are great and the views are perfect. An update is required as the wifi is non existing and the smell was slightly offensive, the toilets are from the 60's maybe early 70's witch is cool but the over all feel is a little worn out and in need of some updating. ”
