Nothing fancy but great place to stay at a reasonable price. It was very clean and beds are comfortable. Good location close to Stanley park, beaches, shopping, dining and transit. I would definitely go back.

When we arrived in room, we noticed mold on ceiling in living area and bedroom closet, also heavy and I mean heavy thick dust on wall in bedroom, sheet in bedroom had a rip in it, glasses in kitchen not all that clean, empty dish soap container, cigarette box and can on patio, fridge made a funny noise --after alerting...

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I apologize for all the inconvenience this may have caused you and your family. We found out that, that particular room being on one of the higher floors was prone to Condensation, which means in cold climate windows are typically the coldest surface in the interior of a wall assembly, therefore causing...

Older hotel with a small elevator. I stayed on the 9th floor where there's four suites per floor. Could easily sleep a family of 4 in the suite which included a kitchenette. If you not use to sleeping downtown Vancouver, you may wake up to street noise. Something to be aware of is the fridge did make a bit of...

The Riviera is really well-located, right on Robson St - short walking distance to Stanley Park and similar to great shopping and other tourist spots. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large, with full kitchen, but somewhat dated. The room could definitely do with an update. But the bed was firm and comfortable, the wi-fi decent (and free)...

Guest services were really nice, beds were great, layout was perfect, great location and easy to get around with a central location. Was disappointed that at 4:30pm our room wasn't ready and noticed something similar the next day with a guest! Also, no where in the booking did it say $25 a night for parking, extremely caught off guard and...

For the price great location, was rather disappointed that room wasn't even ready at 430pm after I had called and said I was in town at noon. Also found out that they charge $25 a night for parking but wasn't advertised(very disappointed!) Great location, pots and cooking utensils are garbage to use, need to be upgraded! Also we had 5ppl...

Was very pleasantly surprised upon arriving. Google maps kept track of where the hotel was, (I forgot my itinerary at home), the hotel is in a great location, and such a great room for the price. It was very nice inside, and even had a kitchenette. Would definitely return and recommend.

We were travelling with our 2 year old and it was excellent to have a place with an affordable one bedroom suite & full kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was excellent. the building is undergoing upgrades, so there were some complications associated with that and we didn't know this until we arrived. As it turns...

“to check for cleanliness before guests arrive - obviously the room we stayed in had had previous leaks so - always check for mold”

“I was very impressed, but it admittedly took me a while to figure out how to turn on the shower. Also, I put a sock over the alarm clock so the glow wouldn't keep me up. I'm not sure if you can do anything about either of these things, but would still recommend and return regardless of those details. ”
