I will start with the cons because I know how much I hate reading through these reviews til the end to find out the problems. The hotel is older than St. Regis, the interior. I think it is time for renovation, but it is not dirty or falling apart. The ceiling is slightly low. Floor could use a new carpet....

The conference facilities were great. The food was excellent and the room lived up to what I expected. The restaurant was great and the location was just about perfect for everything around downtown. Overall, very good.

Stayed at the downtown Vancouver location in April for a conference. I normally would stay at a Hilton but the four seasons hotel was located closer to the conference and would make it possible for me to walk. The rooms are a bit out dated and bed made a sqeeling noise.

Staff are the stars of this 40-year-old, nicely refurbished property. During our 8-day visit each hotel employee was bright, friendly and eager to know how they could improve our visit. Every interaction at every level was a pleasure. Why can't life always be like this? Perhaps it can, if you'll fork over $45 per night for smooth, amiable valet parking,...

My daughter and I had our first "Dad & Daughter" trip. We chose this hotel due to the outstanding pool otherwise we would have opted for something on the water. However, when we got there the pool was empty!!!! There was nothing on their webpage nor at check in. We were extremely disappointed. The hotel gave us a free movie,...

This hotel could use a lot of work on its guest rooms. I've stayed in a number of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts over the years and this property does not live up to expectations. Bland without personality, I could have been anywhere in a 3.5 star property. That being said, the service, restaurant and meeting space were wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay. I would give it 5 stars but, the property is older and not that fabulous. Very, very, good! customer service, we wanted for nothing. Used the hot tub and pool area, great! great location. Just go!

An excellent stay. Great room, great service and an enjoyable meal at the restaurant. Did not utilize the pool or fitness facilities but the rooftop pool looked like an excellent spot to retreat to. Would recommend a stay here to others.

The room was large with good views (for being in the middle of the city!), although the beds were comfortable, the double beds are SMALL doubles! The service was excellent, incredibly helpful, attentive, professional and friendly, and the pool and sundeck area was "awsome"!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
