We’ve stayed at this property a number of times, and it is by far my favourite hotel to stay in. The rooms are amazing and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful; a trademark Fairmont quality but it is what makes them the best.
This is our favourite hotel in Vancouver! We have stayed in many other hotels in Vancouver, but none measures up to the Pacific Rim. This is why we keep coming back.

Truly magnificent. Right on the water by the seaplane base and cruise terminal so no loss for things to watch coming and going. All the staff is very courteous and friendly. Concierge superb and bell/door staff all spot on.
The location, service and quality of this property across the board is excellent. The indication for me of an excellent hotel, is the consistency of service. And every time I come to the Pacific Rim, it is always 10 out of 10. When the Prime...More

I wore a knee-length rain coat with a liner. I'd taken out the liner because it was warmer but I think you'd be ok with a coat with a liner. And a hood!!! I had an umbrella but it was so much easier to just flip the hood up... More

I was there last year during the marathon and yes it was busy. The hotel is right across the street from the convention centre where everyone goes to sign in for the race and the plaza right next to the convention centre is where they had yoga and other special things going on. The Fairmont pacific rim is the closest hotel if your doing the race but if your not I would stay somewhere else because it gets really busy. Some roads are closed for the race as well.
