Douglas guest house is a great B&B in Vancouver. Its located on a nice street just off a main street which leads to downtown Vancouver. There are shops, cafes, bars and restaurants close by. The Skytrain and bus stops are a 5 min walk away....More
Great location, close to Translink stop and with many restaurants nearby. Walking distance to Queen Elizabeth Park & Van Dusen Gardens. Nice, older building, cheerful staff, substantial breakfast, clean, comfortable room with full bath.

Very well situated and a comfortable bed. Free parking is also a plus. Nice cozy breakfast room with good breakfast. Nice neighborhood for walking and the guest house is well organized for off hours arrival. Would use this place again when visiting Vancouver.
When we were looking for a B&B for this trip, we just wanted a place that was affordable within a close range of where our family lives. The Douglas Guest House is not pretentious, it's not glamorous, it doesn't have the best location but it's...More
Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Shaughnessy is Vancouver's most verdant plotted neighbourhood, and its tree-lined streets, walking routes, bike trails, and charming public parks make for an ideal location to spend and afternoon communing with nature. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the
city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes. Quiet, elegant Shaughnessy excels at providing the Three Gs: Gardens, Golfing, and Galleries.
