My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The suite had everything we needed. We enjoyed many of the delicious restaurants in town but also cooked up a nice meal in the suite. Bobbi and Jay were great hosts-so friendly and helpful with our needs and questions. I know we were all wishing we could stay longer and look forward...

My friends from England and I recently stayed at Black Bear Guesthouse. The accommodations were fantastic, clean, well-designed and it had everything we needed. The best part was the close proximity to Chesterman Beach--a 5 minutes walk. If you are looking for quiet elegance for a getaway, Black Bear Guesthouse is the perfect location in Tofino.

Thank you for a lovely stay in the self catering cabin which was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and clean. We had a lovely walk along the beach just a few minutes walk across the road on our first night there. The owners are very nice and helpful but you won't see them much when you are self catering but you...

We stayed in the cedar room for two nights..Bobbi was a good host very friendly and warm. Located outside of the town in a small quiet area overlooking a cove. We stayed in the cedar room which was cosy with heated polished floor. Room had all amenities, including decent bed, bathroom and living area. Small fridge is available, however no...

We stayed for two nights in the cedar room of the black bear guesthouse and enjoyed it a lot - everything is styled perfectly and thoughtfully arranged with love - modern, minimalistic, clean and cosy. The atmosphere is like in a high class hotel - only that you are in this beautiful nature surrounded by trees, with a great view...

Seems that all the great kudos for this destination are for the upstairs over the garage suite & from when this was a bed & breakfast; which I was under the impression was still in place when I booked through booking.com a week ago but was subsequently informed by the owner was no longer in place. The "cedar suite" which...

We stayed here for 3 nights in October with our two teenage children. We had two rooms on the lower level of the home. First off, the home is beautiful. We loved the decor and the simple beauty of the home. It was beautiful to open the door off of our bedroom and be able to sit on the deck...

The house is tucked away off the main road in a tranquil inlet. The inside is just amazing - clean, comfortable and rustic. The exterior is serene and overlooks the sound. Lots of areas to relax in including a deck where we sat around the firepit with a beer gazing up at the crystal clear sky. Breakfast was phenomenal -...

This is a wonderful B&B in a serene location. The breakfast we had here was, hands-down, the best breakfast we had on our whole 3-week trip! The rooms are immaculate and the rustic, simple decor is perfect. The communal areas are fabulous places in which to sit and relax, read a book or just soak in the atmosphere (cozy lounge,...
