What can we say, magical..... We stayed in the Pointe building and could have sat in our room watching the surf all day long. However we did have to try the restaurant as well and that was just as good.

The friendly staff that remembered our names, the well appointed casually comfortable room with details (such as binoculars and rain gear) that enhanced the location experience and the balcony view of crashing waves meeting the rain forest all contributed to a memorable experience. The restaurant setting is impressive but our appetizers and main courses were disappointing.

We visited Wickaninnish Inn for an anniversary weekend. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service and experience were excellent. The room was spacious and a gorgeous view, a large soaker tub, fireplace and tons of amenities (beach blankets, rain coats, a backpack to borrow etc). The beds were very comfortable, luxurious bedding and big huge...

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The greeting from the staff was warm, welcome and sincere. Our room 106 was amazing. Spacious, a very deep bath to relax in and and unwind after a long drive and it has a view out to the ocean. The bed was a king and so comfortable. It is a bit...

This Inn was absolutely wonderful--they anticipated our every need, from blankets for the balcony, special beach towels and backpacks and water bottles for hiking, binoculars, a complimentary minibar, good internet service, fabulous views, a gorgeous bathroom with a tub privately viewing the ocean, total rain gear, pants and jacket in case the weather turned, rain boots your needed size, and...

I have nothing but good things to say about the restaurant. Excellent service, food, ambience and the view is to die for. It's a "must try". We were there for lunch. Although we did not stay at the hotel, all staff members were very courteous and made us feel welcomed.

We were here for 5 days and the room was outstandingly tasteful with amazing views on the ocean. Service was always friendly and good and the location on the rocks beside the beach is unbeatable. Really enjoyed every minute of the trip and the storm and driving rain on one day was also great. 4m waves from your bedroom is...

Loved this hotel although one king room had a large walk-in shower and the other double room had a smaller less nice one. Same price (we booked 2 rooms for the family.) restaurant was pricey but food was good.

I have just spent 5 nights at the hotel and cannot recommend it enough. The hotel is beautiful and really in keeping with the location. The rooms are very clean and beds large and comfy. Chesterman beach is gorgeous. The weather was not great but the hotel provides rain coats which is a nice touch. The restaurant was fabulous. We...

I have extremely high expectations when it comes to hotels. Right from the second I walked in this property exceeded my expectations. I am a big fan on classic luxury hotels but his beach resort would give any 5 star city hotel a run for its money. My husband and I stayed in the beachcomber suite. It was much larger...

Wickaninnish Inn, a Relais & Chateaux property since 1997, overlooks the Pacific Ocean from a rocky point on Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast, near the eclectic town of Tofino and Pacific Rim National Park. Two contemporary cedar buildings, set against a backdrop of ancient rainforest, boast an extensive local art collection (complemented by the neighbouring wood carving shed), and all rooms and suites offer ocean or beach views, gas fireplace, soaker tub and individual balcony. Uncompromising service, including a Clefs d’Or Concierge team, is a standard. The sole resort on Chesterman Beach, Tofino’s longest at 2.5km/1.5mi, the Inn is home to refined West Coast cuisine at The Pointe Restaurant and naturally-inspired treatments at its intimate Ancient Cedars Spa.
