For the first time, we decided to visit CLR in the winter and couldn't have been more delighted. We've gone every summer for 19 years and love the friends, swimming, dock sitting, outside all day atmosphere. In the winter, the resort is more mysterious and much quieter. Wood fires are a given as is sitting inside enjoying being together. The...

Only spent one night while exploring the island, but it was perfect for us. Quiet and cozy this time of year. Very friendly greeting upon arrival with some good tips of the island. The cabin was nice and warm (it was a cold day) and we were greeted by the smell of wood smoke, as a fire had already been...

Most recently visited Cusheon lake with a few friends. Cabin was cozy looked right out onto the beautiful lake. I've stayed here a few times and hope to return soon. In the summer, you can kayak and swim in the lake. In mid feb, we were perfectly happy staying indoors, enjoying the ales, ciders and cheeses we had picked up...

We just had four days in the Resort. It has been here for 40 years plus and we picked it because of the great reviews on TA. So often, in the so many places we have been privileged to visit, so often when you arrive you say was this the actual place they were advertising. This is not a place...

We stayed in cabin 11 for two nights in February - such a wonderful spot for a short getaway from the city! The cabin was a great size for a couple, cozy but not cramped and well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen and lots of linens (we appreciated the extra blankets!). The cabin is old, but very well maintained...

I was impressed as soon as I walked into the office. I've never had the person behind the desk introduced them self and welcome me with a hand shake. The cabin was cozy and had everything we would need for our two night stay. The weather didn't cooperate so we really did appreciate the fireplace. For those that don't know...

I stayed at Cusheon Lake with 25 members of family and friends for my sister's surprise 30th birthday. It was an incredible weekend -we rented 5 cabins overall, skated on the lake (which was frozen over for the first time in years), had potlucks and played games in the spacious cabins, and overall had a wonderful time. I can't recommend...

The cottage was very cozy and comfortable. But the property was muddy, wet and gloomy and boring. We were a family group of five adults and a dog. I felt the price charged was not worth the service and facility. Just not the right place to go for a holiday in winter

Thanks for staying with us! We're happy to hear you found our cabins cozy and comfortable. The wood-burning fireplaces, dedicated wifi, digital TV and Netflix are a fantastic way to enjoy a relaxing retreat during the winter months. Sorry that the weather didn't cooperate during your stay. If you ever find yourself back at Cusheon Lake on a gloomy day,...

Morning coffee with a view of the lake, family fun during the day and cozy, relaxing evenings spent by the fire. Great place to reconnect with nature and each other. We love staying here each time we come to visit Salt Spring Island.

My family and I stayed for a long weekend. The hosts were very hospitable and gave us lots of tips about what to see. The canoes and stand-up paddle boards were well-maintained, and I was glad to see the focus on safety - they had tons of lifejackets in all different sizes for children and adults. And the price was...
