We had one of the water only sites and it was a good size and nicely spaced out from the other sites. It did back on to the group area so on Saturday night it was pretty noisy. The kids had fun in the small playground. The showers were fairly clean and the water was hot. It was a dollar... More

We visited Brannen Lake campground for a 4 night camping trip with our family of 5, my sister and her husband and their 3 kids and 4 other families with their children. All kids were under the age of 9. This was our second year camping there, hoping to make this a yearly tradition. We booked with them in February... More

Hello Sheffields, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We understand that you are upset about your recent stay at Brannen Lake Campsite. Our sincerest apologies that the beach closed early on one of the days you stayed with us. The 4:30pm closure on Saturday was due to the beachfront owner’s wedding reception. We did make an... More

It was very full due to the holiday weekend and we had not booked but the lovely staff let us stay in the group camp field which is actually much nicer than the very shady serviced pitches. The lake has a small swimming area best suited to small kids, and there was a great disco on the Saturday which the... More

Loved this campground! Very quiet with many different types of campsites to suit all tastes (huge pull-through, open and sunny, shady and private, full hook-ups, tenting etc.). Our girls are older (10 and 14) so playgrounds are usually not exciting for them, but this campground had a rope swing off a huge cedar that kept them busy for hours. Beach... More

We spent one night here with our trailer in order to be close to the ferry the next morning. What a gem of a park! Large variety of sites, some really nice private forested spots for folks with tents or small trailers that don't require services. Very reasonably priced too! There are walking trails throughout the park so our dog... More

The staff were very friendly. We were surprised on the first night that the quiet hours weren't enforced. There was quite a party happening at the site behind us. The kids loved the beach but it was absolutely covered in goose poo (not that anyone can do anything about that). Showers were clean but it takes a while to get... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Goose poop around lakes sure can be a problem on the island until early July when the goslings learn to fly. We do our best to rake it daily and the rest of the summer is generally a non issue. Hope to see you another time! More

What a beautiful campground. We stayed in a non hook up site which were the prettiest ones. The forest is so enchanted. The people were so very friendly. Made you feel like you were at home. They had a hay ride at night which took you for about a 45 min ride to the lake. Kids will for sure love... More

Stayed at this beautiful campsite. The people are super friendly, from the lady at the front desk to the gentleman who took us on a hay ride to the lake. Our 2nd yearly traditional camping trip to Brannen Lake, and again, why would we take the kids anywhere else? How many ways can you say "awesome"? We are new to trailer camping and backing into a spot is not as easy as it looks. The campsite owners (Lorraine and Allan) felt our angst and booked us into a "pull through" spot. The campgrounds are tidy, treed with lots of trails to explore - not to mention the wonderful lake...
