It was only a one day stop in Nanaimo during our spring break family vacation at end of March, we picked this B&B because of many excellent reviews. We definitely made a right choice!!! The hosts are very nice, room is clean and quite, with interesting decorations. Breakfast was delicious, also accommodated with special gluten free option. We accidentally broken...

I've stayed in many B&Bs over the years and the Pine and PIcket in Nanaimo ranks top for me for food, atmosphere, location and comfort. But what really places it above the others for me was our host Ingvar. I was in town for 2 nights for lengthy but out-patient surgery and he bent over backwards to assist myself and...

We had a great time at this place, clean, tidy and very homey. We were made to feel very welcome on a snowy winter weekend away. The host gave some great local tips to explore the town, and shared breakfast with us while he serenaded us with his charming voice. Would recommend to anyone. Great food, great place, great company...and...

I forget how many times I have been to this B&B, but it is my all-time favourite on Vancouver Island, and on this most recent visit, I discovered the hidden culinary skills of the proprietor, who conjures up Thai dishes with aplomb as a special treat, while the lady of the house dazzles with her banana flambe for authentic Belgian...

Very comfortable beds. We had to leave very early in the morning which was not a problem for our host. We had a grea tour of his various fruit trees and an opportunity to drink some home made wine. Would recommend this place to anyone. It is very convenient to the Departure Bay Ferry.

Location is a little outside of downtown Nanaimo but in a lovely, quiet residential neighborhood with good view of the waterway. We stayed in the front room and had a small balcony on which to have a glass of wine before dinner. Ania made the most delicious breakfast and the presentation (with edible flowers from her garden) was straight out...

We had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely, small, B&B. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming....not to mention intensely entertaining. Anya's breakfasts are unbelievable. I didn't realize that she is a french culinary school graduate....and it definitely shows at breakfast time. The only minor suggestion I have for the Madagascar room....move the TV across from the bed if...

Located near the ferry docks, the Pine and Picket Bed and Breakfast is such a wonderful place to spend time at. Ania and Ingvar go all out to ensure the comfort of everyone staying with them. My husband and I spent 2 nights there, and we were truly sad to leave. The bed is so comfortable, and it is nice...

Things did not start too well when we were told they had accidentally (Expedia's fault) double booked. They put us in a smaller room at the front which was fine for one night. The hosts were great and very apologetic about the mistake. The B&B is very close to the ferry terminal and three restaurants. Breakfast was superb, great variety,...
