I recently had a skiing accident at Big White. My wife stayed at the Royal Anne for a week while I was in hospital. Their help with communicating with the insurance company was invaluable. We subsequently stayed a further week while I was waiting for clearance to fly home to Australia. The management and staff at this hotel are wonderful....

Dear Mr. Lyons, We heartily wish your stay with us, was under less stressful (and painful) circumstances! That we could offer assistance to Maggie in any small way, at such a difficult time, is really the very least we could do. You sir....are a trooper! Your will & determination are to be greatly admired. We're relieved to know you made...

I was told this was a great hotel... well, it is okay + in mid winter we were woken by drunk men outside the hotel window on the main street... there is a bar next to the hotel. The rooms are average. Breakfast is amazing with all kinds of choices.. they get 5/5 for breakfast. Service was ok. Manager grumpy...

Dear Meadow4444, Thank you for your review this morning, I do recall meeting you in our lobby on that frosty day. There was obviously a miscommunication when I responded to your request to override the motion detector & physically close our front doors. I believe I explained that physically closing the door, would actually lock the doors & prevent unregistered...

I'm happy to say this was a good value solution for our long weekend ski trip to Kelowna and Big White. There are options for hotels along the 97, but we were happy to drive the extra 5 minutes to be in the downtown core. Across the street are several coffee shops plus plenty of good restaurants within a block....

There can be no greater reward, than having international travellers stay with us & leave impressed with both our property & the friendly customer service received during your stay. That you had a lovely stay....says it all. Thank you!...

I like the location because it easy to stroll the downtown, eat sushi, enjoy the cafes, bookstore and the lake. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The breakfast was simple and tasty with lots of fresh fruit and baked goods. I would stay there again.

When visiting the university we normally stay at that end of town for convenience. However this time the hotels were even more expensive (jacked up for family weekend no doubt) so we decide to go down town where found this hotel. Its reasonable priced. Rooms are just as good as those other hotels the staff were very polite and helpful....

Dear CabinBoy2392, As you've noted, travelling to town with the intention of visiting the University area, does not necessarily mean it's the best area to stay in. Aside from the actual university & airport, there's really not a lot to do out there, so I'd bet most people end up coming into town for meals, shopping & entertainment. That you...

The staff and management at the Royal Anne went out of their way to ensure our stay was good. All of the staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating for our group of 19. The meeting room facility was exceptional and filled with lots of natural daylight while still proving sufficient privacy. We enjoyed our stay so much that we've rebooked...

I was raised in Kelowna but left many years ago. The old Royal Anne hotel burnt down in the early 1970's, and had a bit of a dodgy reputation. The new hotel was built about 10 years later and while we have visited Kelowna many times since had shied away from the Royal Anne until this trip. We decided to...

Dear jwn_regina, Somehow, your review has really touched me & I feel as though we have earned ourselves a new 'biggest fan' :) Quite likely because you are somewhat familiar with the hotel's history, the glory days of old.....and the not so good days between then & present day, that your review resonates with me. The hotel for our conference was great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Employee Sherry was amazing at the breakfast and conference lunches. Parking can be a challenge and a noisy neighbour might be heard through the shared wall - my only concern. We have booked again for next year. 👍🏼

This is a 4 or 5 star hotel but they under staff it. The rooms are excellent and nice downtown location. Indoor parking available. They even supplied ear plugs in each room. Not needed. Staff will go the extra mile for you.

Dear Des, We very much appreciate your business & thank you for the wonderful rating! Unlike larger properties & large chain hotels such as Marriott's, Fairmont's etc, you will find as a rule, staffing policies are quite minimal in comparison for smaller - mid sized properties. We run a very lean ship & our staff members often multi task, while...
