This place is quite famous. It sits on the Douglas Lake Ranch property. It is a very unique setting. The cabins sit on the edge of the lake, beautiful views, sunsets, sunrise. I like the wood burning stoves in the cabins. I hated the beds. I understand why wifi is extra, you are there to fish. Not surf the web....

Great cabins with everything included, dishes, full kitchen, electric or wood heat, nice bathrooms and seperate bedrooms. The mattresses were ok not super soft but they were adequate . ( we heard new ones coming next season) The camping sites looked very nice as well but since it was October we wanted a warm bed. The Hosts were super helpful...

Looking back towards Kamloops you notice the semi desert landscape on either side. Arable land is fertile and irrigated from the lake. This vast landscape is mostly arid and it is surprising there is no green at the lakes edge.

Took our trailer there for a few days to visit friends. Nice little lake to fish. Campground is very clean and they even have a pool there. Washroom has showers and is kept clean. Staff there is very friendly. Great place to camp and fish.

We stayed in Cabin #1 for two nights. The cabin was very clean and spacious but unfortunately the queen bed was horrible! You could feel the springs through the mattress!! On the second night we slept on the futon. The lake is very nice and each cabin has a fire pit and a wood fireplace. The staff were very friendly...

Spent a week here with my husband & our dog. We had hook-up for our trailer. Campsites were extremely clean, shower house was the cleanest I've ever seen. Lake was nice, fishing was slow but to be expected since it was so hot. Cronimid was the best bet. The maintenance people, the owner & the general store workers where really...

The road to this "resort" is a gravel washboard. Horrible! They advertise Wifi but you pay for it, the pool is NOT heated. My son-in-law went for a swim and ended up with a leech attached to his stomach. The lake is full of weeds and algae! The RV sites are gravel and mud, uneven, and swarming with wasps! The...

You don't get much better than this. Cabins, yurts, full service trailer lots, dry camping and a beautiful lake with big trout. Twiggs place is a beautiful home that is rented out nightly and any where you stay at the resort is magic. You'll enjoy your time here and never want to leave. Staff is friendly and the weather is...

Salmon Lake Resort is located on the Douglas Lake Ranch approximately 150 kilometres from Kamloops. This is a resort going back sixty years with a devoted and loyal patronage. There are cabins; RV hook-ups; and dry camping areas. WiFi is available at a nominal price and cellular service is available. A store and office onsite provides a very comprehensive supply...
