Fantastic resort. Best way to detox. We had a family room with a waterfall view. The food is simple but tasty. The staff is very helpful . We enjoyed 3 treks - plateau, waterfall and highest point. Try to stay for 2 nights if possible although 1 night is also fine. Only.caution - the treks are a bit difficult especially the waterfall one. If you are afraid of heights or not physically fit, so not attempt. The guide goes in front and did not really help while climbing or descending. Luckily the trekkers help out each other. More so when it was raining and the ground and rocks were slippery. Also, be aware of insects especially during rainy season.

The property is at the Karnataka Maharashtra Goa tri junction. It is wonderful and completely setup in mid of jungle, it is a must visit for all nature lovers. We visited in December and had booked valley view family cottage, it was called 'Garud'. The view of valley along with the water fall is mesmerising. We did spot some rare species of birds from our balcony. The best part about Wildernest is the infinity pool, we spent most of the time in the pool enjoying the spectacular view of Chorla Ghats. They serve delicious food, including regional delicacies like Bhakri, jhunka vadi, metkut, usal, fodni poha, masala bhat, solkadhi etc. They offer many activities like trekking, pottery, mehendi, folk dance, documentary movies etc. The staff is also very humble and helpful. One unique thing about this place is the Cable Car that takes you from car parking to the resort reception area, you get to experience the breathtaking views of mountains in the cable car. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here starting from the awesome views, some amazing local dishes, the folk dance FUGDI, trekking trails..

It is little difficult to get the booking on weekend as it highest operational Nature Resort. If you want to be away from busy life. Wish to spend the good time with nature then visit this place. One attraction of this place is the CRANE that takes you from car parking to the resort reception. Amidst the nature you are travelling in crane. That feeling is amazing. We visited this place on 22nd July. It was raining heavily. Due to which could not do many outdoor activities. Even the folk dance was not arranged. It has amazing cottages made of wood in between the forest. Food is superb but options can be increased for the money they are charging. 24 hours hot water facility. One more attraction is infinity swimming pool. Don't miss the trekking. Feedback to the management is cottages are not fully covered. There will be cold air rush in the cottages. Small insects, snails were also seen in the rooms. Extra beds provided were drenched in water. This place little high on pockets. Cost per person is 3000 rs/day.

We visited Wildernest in May, 2022 as a family of four. This is not your regular resort, it is a resort that brings to you wilderness blended with tasteful luxury in a manner that attempts to not take away anything from the nature. This can get outright uncomfortable for those scared of insects, ants, snakes and the kind. For the wild at heart, this is just the way it should be. As soon as we entered the property from the highway, we knew we were in for something special. The parking area laden in evening mist itself was beautiful. The rustic looking lamps along the path guide you to a wooden deck amongst the trees. We had no idea what was in store. We were ushered into a cable trolley. We were still absorbing it all and the trolley started moving up the hill. The magic of the valley that surrounds the property started revealing itself gradually. The sun was setting in the distance, the wooded valley with waterfalls on one side and the clouds embracing the hills here and there, it was all like a movie scene. My daughters had their mouths wide open in awe through out. We were welcomed by the staff at the landing deck on the top of the hill and given introduction of the place and the activities. Our cottage was at one end of the property, so we had to walk a bit through tastefully created path through dense greenery. The rooms were neatly done in wood and the bed linen was good quality. The sit-out overlooked the woods and the valley with butterflies finding their resting pace for the night. The whole stay was full of activities like nature walks, hikes including one to a beautiful waterfall (with a little but beautiful surprise at the end). There are naturalists that share wonderful info about the local flora and fauna. The food served is almost entirely very local, simple and soulful. There were evening cultural performances by the locals that were mesmerizing. All of it is in a wild setting. The infinity pool is a unique experience given the view as well as the fact that you can actually spot rare frog specie nesting or a snake resting somewhere close. Shekrus also pay a visit and so do monekeys. Must visit for anyone who wants to experience nature closely. Note: Be careful to not have any food items with you in the room. We were instructed not to but we thought we had it packed and concealed well. To our surprise a rat chewed into one of our bags that had some eatable inside it. So just ensure you have no eatables in any of your bags inside the room.

Wildernest is not a very popular place yet a must to visit for groups of all ages. It was our second time experience, this time with the whole family after 16 years, and nothing has changed! There are a lot of activities to do around the property with 2 to 3 treks arranged everyday that takes us to explore the beauties nearby. There are 3 types of rooms - -- The forest view cottages, which are placed at far distances in the mists of the woods giving the thrills and chills of the forestry and its creatures. It was also the place where we stayed. -- The valley view cottages, which were less scary and more beautiful giving an amazing view of the whole valley and the hill range. -- And finally, the cottages with private pools, which we didn't explore much... The restaurant served awesome food that touched our taste buds with deliciousness and the services provided were very quick and up to the mark. The property was well managed by the employees and the services provided were to its best. Special thanks to Mr. Namdev who took us to different treks, The chef for providing us with 4 meals a day with the same delicacy of food maintained, Ms. Teja for guiding us through the property and Mr. Pandurang for helping us with the luggage.

Wildernest a must go for all nature lovers. We got the clue from Vivek Travel Trails YouTube blog which inspired us to visit this boutique hotel in the midst of nature. The experience was what we thrive during our trek in Himalayan ranges - Nature, Peace, Cut off from World (No Network, TV). This property has 21 rooms which are spread over a big area with the a single restaurant and infinity pool. The resort also has a sister property Swapnagandha little down in the altitude, which has 17 rooms and relatively newly built and has a pool too. The room charges comes all inclusive of food. We visited in winter and chose valley view room. The view of valley along with the water fall is mesmerising. The pool water is little cold to enjoy except during noon with Sun on top. They provide many activities too - of which we enjoyed the sunset point walk and mehndi. The other activities like trek to water fall, we skipped coz little mishap (small cut due to sharp tree edge on side of pool) and the first aid was not readily available and luckily we had our own. There is no AC or TV in room (that we shouldn’t expect in middle of nature). Hot water was available and the room size is decent. Food is decent. The Bhaji made in clay pot makes you feel at home. Previous tourists complained of spicy food - but this time they kept a non spicy area (esp for Foreign tourists).
