We had a great stay, last November - a very pleasant surprise. Quite off the beaten track, you have to look for the sign on the way from Hinton into the part, it s easy to miss.

The Overlander is a short distance from Jasper Park gates. You will need to purchase passes to the park. The park wardens at the gate will be able to give you information regarding the hiking trails. I know there are trails just inside the gates; however depending on your skill level and the distance you want to hike it's a good idea to check with them before you attempt the trails. Hope this helps.
