Patricia Lake Bungalows is a cozy cabin resort high in the Canadian Rocky Mountains overlooking a calm crystal clear lake. This is beautiful Patricia Lake in Jasper National Park. In 2016 our family will be celebrating a milestone of 50 years of owning and operating Patricia Lake Bungalows! Since 1966 we have hosted thousands of guests at Patricia Lake Bungalows and helped each one of them to experience our amazing National Park. Our location is a perfect 3 mile (5 km) distance from the town of Jasper, Alberta. Just far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle of town yet close enough to walk to town for an evening of enjoyment. Located on this beautiful lake's shore, the resort has several styles of accommodations. We stayed in a very spacious two bed motel suite with counter space, coffee machine, table and chairs, mini fridge, fireplace, TV, bath with toiletries, and exposed wooden beams. Clean, lots of windows, very comfortable! Had hot tub, fire pit, picnic tables. No restaurant. Pop machine. There are steps leading down to a boat dock **AND elk!! One male and four females roamed the yards eating dinner. We definitely kept our distance as it was rutting season.

This has to be the most idealic location we could have chosen for our stay in Jasper. It was everything we hoped it would be,in a beautifully quiet, peaceful lakeside site with great views and accomodation. From check in to out it was a absolute pleasure to have stayed on this Family Owned site which, for us rekindled memories of holidays years ago where from the moment you arrived you would feel at ease & home,Our suite was spotlessly clean with a lovely Verandah to relax on if you so wished. With On site Hot tub, lakeside jetty for Swimming & Canoe(hire charge applicable)access, Barbecues on a first come basis to use,& play area for children. The grounds were immaculate, with floral displays and not a bit of mess to be seen anywhere. The two members of Staff we encountered were welcoming, polite & friendly and passed on all the necessary information required. What more do you need ?

About five miles out of Jasper, close enough to enjoy the town but far enough to be away from the tourist rush. Extremely helpful staff. Clean cabin, which had a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living area - with the plus of a place to read comfortably at night (not just propped up in bed). Kitchenette allowed us to make breakfast or bring food back to heat up. On a pretty lake with trails to hike. Plenty of space between cabins, quiet. Even though it was end of the season the property was neat as a pin. Boats for rent. Play area for children. Wide range of accomodations.

Hotel prices in Jasper have gone up a lot since our previous visit in 2016, so we chose to return to the Patricia Lake bungalows and stay again in the Cavell Suite despite availability of other newer choices. We were very glad to find that this nice lodge which is far enough from the town center to be away from train noise maintains the same level of quality and service after the past a few years. Cavell suites are among some of the newer additions to the lodge with updated facilities and tastful decor yet reasonably priced. The separated sitting area with fireplace is practical and feels very homey.

Less than ten minutes from downtown Jasper, Patricia Lake Bungalows is a wonderful, family-run group of cabins on a beautiful and peaceful lake. My wife and I spent three days in a one bedroom cabin with a fantastic lake view. The cabin was perfect and very comfortable with someone coming by each evening to see if you needed anything. There is room outside for wine or dinner that you can prepare in your own kitchen. Lots of good restaurant choices nearby as well. Compared to many places in the Banff/Jasper area, Patricia Lake Bungalows is very reasonably priced. It was our favorite place to stay during a recent trip to the Canadian Rockies and also the least expensive. Highly recommended!

We come here at least once a year and often twice. This fall, we brought our brother and sister with us and spent a wonderful week. The location is perfect, well situated back from the road and beside peaceful Patricia Lake. Our lake view cabins were well appointed and comfortable. We were easily able to prepare most meals so trips to town were limited. Staff were helpful and friendly and no detail was too small or large for them to handle. We will be back again....and again.

We stayed early Sept and had a great time Such a peaceful place to relax and unwind. We rented a canoe and paddled Patricia Lake … best boat rental rates in the area .and the scenery is second to none. Used the BBQ area and fire pit area Cabins were equipped with everything you need. Ask if the cabin is easy to access with a truck … some are tight but still accessible Lots of trails for hiking and we were able to drive to some east bike trails that were kid friendly

We spent a night here in 2007, just before our first child was born, and came back with both our kids to show them it. It's a very special place. Unfortunately it was pretty booked up so we could only get one night. The lake is beautiful as is Pyramid mountain which overlooks it. The cabin was excellent, spacious, well equipped, stylish and clean. The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed canoeing on the lake. Fabulous place- but how dare you be booked up!

We stayed in Patricia Lake for three nights - 2 adults and 2 kids. We absolutely loved this place and it was the highlight of our 17 day trip. It really felt like the real Canada we had been looking for. The check in and reception staff were exceptionally polite and helpful and the room spotlessly clean and well equipped. We were blessed with perfect weather and it was so warm we had a refreshing ( and I mean refreshing!) dip in the lake twice. The scenery and peace and quiet was heaven and just what we needed. Loads of wildlife in the area and we were blessed to see a bear on the road down to town and bull elk gracing the grounds. The hot tub, kayaks and fire pit were all used and were a lovely touch. I would whole heartedly recommend Patricia Lake Bungalows - thank you for the amazing memories.

Pros: We really like this place: everything was beautiful even when it’s covered in smoke from wildfires. For a two minute walk you get to the pier leading to a small dock. Just a heavenly place that you wouldn’t want to leave Cons: we were in its smallest unit and seriously it’s too small for two people: there is literally nowhere to open two suitcases, to put your water bottle, to leave your lotion container out, or to find a place for your wet toothbrush, etc. it’s marketed for 2-4 people but if you put 4 in the room I highly double you would be able to turn around without hitting into someone or something. We will surely go back but will make sure we get a larger unit.
