Quite tired looking hotel. Rooms were ok, large and clean. It is quite a walk (10 to 15 minutes) to town. The breakfast was not great, limited choice and quality. Also the first day we had to wait for breakfast as it was full with a tour party. I note others have made similar comments so it must be a... More

The staff where friendly and the location was good , but when we arrived there where towels placed on the hallway floor ,and when we entered the room it was missable for today's travellers . Dark old carpet old and smelly show curtain and old bathroom suite , blankets on the bed which didn't look to good ,needs to be... More

We had originally booked 4 nights here but left after two! The hotel has absolutely no atmosphere or any soul to it. The rooms are very tired, bathrooms tiny (which left me feeling claustrophobic) and the beds very uncomfortable. We had gone with the intention of celebrating our anniversary here but it really was not up to scratch at all.... More

The whole place feels very dated and ready for a lot of money to be spent on a revamp. If your just after a room to sleep in and are not looking for anything fancy then not a bad option if you pay the right price. Most other guests seemed to be large groups booked in as part of holiday... More

Trafalgar Tours put the tour group in this hotel for 2 nights. The lobby elevator has been out of service for months (past Tripadvisor reviews mention it) and on May 28, 2015 (our tour group's departure day), a couple of men were presumably working on the elevator. If you need wheelchair access, this hotel may not be the best choice... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. You will be happy to learn that the lobby elevator is now operational after a complete refit of all parts. I am sorry about the issues you had with the air conditioner, there is no mention of one of our maintenance personnel being called to see what we could do to repair the... More

We stayed at the Chateau Jasper the weekend of May 30th to attend a wedding. The elevator was out of service which we were not aware when we booked. No staff offered to have our bags brought up to the room for us. We both had knee problems. The room smelled very musty like there had been water damage in... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and I am sorry for the issues you had during your stay. We did a major overhaul on our front elevator which required it to be non-operational for an extended period. All our staff was instructed to offer our guests help with their baggage and I am sorry this did not happen in... More

The lobby and the restaurant/bar areas are quite nice but that's unfortunately where it ends. Our room was on the second floor and overlooked the poorly maintained roof space. The kettle and coffee machine had to be moved to the other side of the room as there was no power point where they were situated. The room was decorated in... More

The hotel is very well appointed, staff always helpful, near enough to walk to village, far enough out to regularly see Mule Deer, Elk. In fact there was one got between the outside and inside door when I was there, soon sorted. Didn't eat here went to Tonquin and various others, but the menu looked nice. Have stayed here 5... More

Our room was booked as part of a package. When we arrived late the hotel was kind enough to pay for our taxi to their establishment. The rooms were clean, but dated. The beds were double sized and hard. Our romantic getaway was not helped by us needing to sleep in different beds due to the size and just how... More

Dear Aelfwynn, Thank you for your review and I am sorry your stay was not as enjoyable as it should have been.
