After reading the plethora of negative reviews, I braced my wife for what I thought would be a not so good experience. It was great! Yes, it is confusing to find the hotel entrance (signs indicating the direction of the hotel would be appreciated), Yes, the cafeteria and restaurant are overpriced with subpar food (bring snacks from Jasper or Lake...

The rooms were very hot, even with the heat off and windows open, making it difficult to sleep. . And it was cold outside. The service in the hotel was either gruff or just strange. The rooms themselves are fine, nothing special, but quite large and clean and can easily sleep 4 people. Because there are large tours running all...

We stayed in glacier view loft with our 2 kids. By booking the Icefield tour before arrival, we were able to jump the que and got right on a tour to the Icefield and Skywalk. Icefield is great. Skywalk is sick to see the cliff and airspace beneath you. Hotel was quiet, even with a tour group in other rooms....

I read the reviews and was cautiously optimistic as we checked into the hotel. Having learned from other reviews, we chose to check in after the ice field tours had closed for the day, so it was much less hectic! The layout is confusing and we did have to look around to find out where to check in, but the...

The hotel was clean and comfortable but a no frill one. It's a bit pricey but that's most for it's location. The quiet sunrise and sunsets are amazing. It's location is ideal for exploring the Athabasca glacier at one's own pace. As a hotel guest, will have fast track access to the Brewster operated tours. The disadvantage of this hotel...

The hotel was expensive but we had a glacier view and it was awesome! The hotel is older and so as other reviews state, the shower is spotty and food is expensive but being right there, across from this amazing view is well worth the price! We wish we could have stayed a couple of nights, but they were all...

Hallway outdated and smells Rooms are nice ( peeling paint) but way overpriced the bathroom has a huge window and the glarier view bedroom has a window the size of approx. 5fthigh and 2 ft. wide ---ridiculous. Nice bathroom but cannot plug the sink. All the bedrooms have 2 queen-sized beds. Some rooms ( not facing the glacier) have a...

I think the design of the loft is flawed. There is no air circulation and all the CO2 gets stored up in the loft. It gets very hot. You can not really leave the window open and risk sleeping with the wind coming from the glaciers. With windows closed all the hot air go up and get stored in the...

Good day shaf2016993, Thank you for your comments about your stay with us. All our rooms are now equipped with at least two fans in each room, one for the main level and one for the loft level. The glacier winds is a great option to help lower the temperature in the rooms but if guests do not want that...

Staff was very friendly once we battled the horde of people to get to the lobby. That was my biggest problem. Would be nice if the lobby had a separate entrance. Found the loft room un believable hot on the first night and had trouble sleeping because of it. But the view made up for it.
