Just over one year ago, I came to Pocahontas and had an amazing time. So much that I wrote a five star review and brought back two new friends. Boy was I embarrassed after they both told me they wouldn't ever come back and it was the worst part of the trip.... I'm not sure what changed with Frank in...

Hi Jody, Thank you for taking the time to post your review of our property I am so disappointed to read your Pocahontas experience especially after reading your previous review here. Frank and I have sat down with this and discussed the review and I would like to apologize on behalf of Frank and myself. Asking for extra towels or...

So accommodating!! It only cost $15/night for our puppy to stay with us. The staff were so kind and helpful. Would strongly suggest. VERY DOG FRIENDLY. I Would absolutely go here again. The view was also wonderful and they offer a free basic breakfast in winter as their restaurant is closed. They do serve basics like milk, bacon, hot chocolate...

We have been coming to Pocahontas Cabins for the past 3 years with our boys between Christmas and New Years. It has never disappointed us and we love coming back every time. We were a bit worried when we came this year as we had a new puppy but the Cabins are pet friendly and the stuff were very accommodating...

We were in Jasper for the Dark Sky Festival. We got a free upgrade to one of the bigger Cabins. It was marvelous. We loved our own kitchen, we loved the quaint living room and we loved the King Size bed in the master bedroom. It was the most comfortable bed I have slept on in decades. The staff were...

Be sure what you are booking. Initially we were allocated a miner's hut with one small queen bedroom, living area etc - very cramped. Were re-allocated same size hut but virtually all one bedroom. It's getting tired, but there are new chalets (at a price). Restaurant OK but wine was expensive.

The only downside to the Cabins is the distance from Jasper but once you have got your head around the travel they are in a great place. We arrived really late and were advised to go straight in for something to eat - it wasn't fantastic but adequate. Cabin was ideal with a lovely outside seating area - I would...

PROS: Friendly staff. Continental breakfast. Relatively well priced considering what you pay in Jasper. CONS: At first glance, the rooms appear clean and quaint. Take a closer look and you will see spiderwebs everywhere and mildew in the bathroom. Walls are thin as paper - we could hear people talking three rooms down. Lights flicker and some were burnt out....

If you're lucky enough to get a cabin, you're in for a treat. I've stayed here on numerous visits to Jasper and I've left happy every single time. The cabins are nice, staff friendly, continental breakfast can hit the spot. There's a hot tub and a pool, as well as a community BBQ and even a mini putt course. The...

Showed up later in the evening, I had already looked online for cabins and found the pricing. We wanted to see them before booking so we drove to the cabins instead of booking online first. We arrived and spoke to Frank at the front desk, he was friendly to other guests at the counter but for some reason we did...

The cabins are warm and cozy. Well appointed too. The front porch was our favorite place to sit. We loved this place so much, we stayed a second night which we never do on a road trip. Pet friendly too.
