Based on other reviews we must have been in one of the updated rooms because the room was actually very pleasant. Nice bed and couch, it's an older building so it's not all nice but it was clean. The windows were left open as one other review mentions, which was strange because the curtains were left drawn. Never would have known if I hadn't checked; luckily we were on the second floor. Ultimately we were looking for a cheap hotel and we got one: breakfast is served from the front desk, staff was friendly (in a way that would have seemed quaint if this hotel was located in a small town, instead it read as a touch unprofessional), and we were told at least three times by different people that we were in a bad part of town. But we were smart about how we walked back and felt perfectly safe once we were in our room.

Staff is very good and they try their best. Price is too high. Phone booking system is bad, I booked 10 days in advance, called one day in advance and they did not have my booking. Room is horrible: carpet dirty, holes in covers from cigarettes and during summer A/C runs everywhere at night and it's noisy. No access cards just keys, and they buzz you in at the reception and entrance after hours. Breakfast is coffee, muffins, yogurt, orange juice Hotel should forbid smoking in all rooms, since all doors are outside.

You get what you pay for, and there’s better places to stay. We were greeted by front desk out on a smoke break, “I’ll finish my smoke and come in” almost 5 minutes later she came inside to check us into our rooms. The check in process was extremely slow, being interrupted by a “guest” wanting to bother her lighter. After a painful 20 minute check in the rooms were very dated (although the website referred to newly renovated rooms) with a shower mat in the tub that had been removed but none of the sticky gunk that was left behind, above the shower head was a piece of painted plywood flaking off chipped paint, toilet flush was running and seat would not stay up. If matters weren’t worse the bedroom (ground floor) window had both windows slightly cracked allowing anyone access from the back alley and cigarette burns in the curtains. The mentioned “ Continental breakfast“ is merely a half muffin and styrofoam cup coffee that front desk only will serve you, (no free choice at this place!) If you are looking for a cheap place to stay and don’t mind guests outside of your window talking about crack and fighting each other, police constantly driving by slowly, and a front desk staff who control your portion sizes, then this is the place for you! If you are looking for a place to sleep on a budget but wish to feel safe during your stay go somewhere else ! 0 out of 5 stars - Avoid this place like the plague

We booked and paid for a standard room, with two queen beds, about two weeks before our stay. When my son and I arrived they had no standard room available and blamed their booking system. We were given a room with a king bed that had no heat and felt like an ice box. A person did attend however, the room never did get cozy warm. No apologies from the front desk and they had a take it or leave it attitude.

Inn is very good value. It's an older motel, but improvements are ongoing. Clean and beds are super comfy . Staff is friendly and helpful. Appreciate the complementary breakfast - coffee, juice, muffins, cereal, yogurt available. Located in a neighbourhood that regenerating, close to LRT, Northlands. We've stayed here a number of times over the past 4 years and expect to continue to do so.

This nice little motel is easily one of the best value for money but don't judge it without spending time to enjoy the nicely appointed suites with all the amenities that are very rare at this point. The queen suite is nicely decked out in cozy leather couch and homey feeling chair.A/C is efficient without freezing your toes, ample spaced fridge, microwave and the TV is good size for the room. Check in was a breeze without the need to sign dozens of pages of paperwork and a CC hold thats comparable to the cost room. All you need in an honest, clean and convenient location next to an LRT station & a bus that runs frequently and past midnight. 5 star property!

I had booked a room here through booking but I changed my travel plans and I no longer needed it. We contacted the hotel and they agreed to wave all charges, providing booking did the same. We cancelled through booking and no charges have been passed onto my card. I should note the booking said non refundable so they clearly were nice and provided a good customer service.
