We asked for a non smoking queen size room. The room has a bad odour and smells like smoke. The furniture is well worn out, dirty and dusty. Got a allergy reaction from the filthy bedding. Receptionist was not very helpful with our request. This is the worst hotel compared to other similar stars hotel. We are frequent travellers and...

Easter Sunday this year was an absolute treat. We went to a little known gem in the centre of Edmonton. The Chateau Louis conference centre. They were doing an Easter brunch that was fit for a King. From the seafood tower of platters deliciously displayed with fresh and smoked salmon, scallops, Alaskan crab legs the size of small lobsters and...

We stayed for one night on March 11 as our Mom was at the nearby Royal Alex hospital, and we couldn't get into the Best Western as it was full. Terrible sewer smell that we noticed the minute we walked into the room. Opened window and returned a few hours later and no better. Something splashed all over walls, very...

8 of us (all adults) enjoyed Sunday brunch at the Chateau Louis. The decor is a bit dated but it was truly part of the charm. The service was good, our waitress was attentive and kind. Management should reconsider the uniforms however as they did not match the ambiance and looked more suited to an Albert's restaurant. The food was...

We really loved Chateau louis. The rooms had character, the staff was extremely attentive and the restaurant/pub was a beautiful hangout. They had an amazing piano player the one night while we enjoyed our cocktails in the lounge. Free parking was also a plus. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to edmonton.

Every sunday, have the most amazing brunch, a lot of Ukrainian, cabbage rolls, etc, but for the price, well worth it. Rooms have just been re-furbished, and they cater to the Oilers, and Eskimos, tickets to the games, at good prices.

I have nothing negative to say about the hotel. I will say that it is definitely dated. If you like a firm mattress, this is the place for you. If you prefer something like a pillow top or a foam top, then this is not a place to go. I would say that this is good for a business trip...

It has that drawing appeal to a persons soul, leaving you with the feeling I got to check this place out. I enjoyed the clean rooms and wonderful service. The breakfast is free with lots of yumming food. I am coming back.

Over the last twenty years we have occasionally stayed overnight in your hotel and been very happy with the overall service and quality of your room & morning breakfast. On the 09 Jan 2016 everything had changed. The pancake syrup which I believe was stale coke in a jug. I asked the server about it and she quickly changed it,...

Don't think I would stay here again, the only moly attraction was smoking rooms. The rooms are dated, some guests (10 to 20) seemed to be using the lobby as their personal living room causing plenty of noise and obstruction throughout my 3 night stay. The Internet was pathetic, constantly cutting out even with a strong signal. When I called...
