We arrived after a debacle with WestJet in Calgary , Alberta around 3 am . Emmanuel was there to greet us and made arrangements to get us registered at Hotel Clique just 5 minutes from Calgary international airport. Once we arrived he assisted us, plus he remembered us from our visit over a month before. He helped us by changing the original room assigned to us to one which was more convenient at our request. After a very comfortable sleep and an amazing shower that was a part of our room we started our day with a good cup of coffee made in our room. We had used the in suite refrigerator to keep our goods fresh. We approached the registration desk and were met by Sunshine and that is what she was a ray of sunshine after the turbulent night we had with WestJet. Once again the staff were so accommodating helping us understand all the nuances we were navigating after our restful sleep. We decided to stay an additional night in order to fully recover knowing that WestJet had made arrangements for our departure to occur within the same timeline. Emmanuel gave a us a breakfast voucher when we Initially registered and were now on our way to make good on it. At the restaurant Mary greeted me and helped us with the voucher and seated us in an area that was preferred by us. We were not prepared to sit just yet. I requested a refill on our coffees and asked if she could charge it to our room. Mary’s response was “ no worries sir it’s on the house”. Once we sat down to breakfast and ordered Mary delivered our hot meal. It had been 30 hours since our last hot meal at this point. Once we finished breakfast Mary once again offered us fresh cups of coffee to take back to our room. The stress in the last day subsided greatly by the kindness and reassurance of the staff here at Hotel Clique. Thanks for what you do Hotel Clique and staff you gave us the sunshine and comfort we both needed and we will return with out a doubt.

Stayed for 3 nights. Nice hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast included, 4 options (maybe just because of Covid?), just ok food, we didn’t eat here for other meals. Overall, good hotel, personally wouldn’t stay more than a couple nights.
Pros- Extremely friendly staff Nice showers! Cool lighting in rooms Water/ coffee in the room Loved seeing the planes at the airport Clean for the most part* (see cons)
Cons- Toilet paper was the quality of a gas station bathroom :| Bed-very low and uncomfortable, could feel the springs *Questionable stain on the chair/ lounger
So, not a perfect stay, but good nonetheless!

We stayed here one night on a stopover on the way home from vacation. Check in was fast and efficient and our room preferences were completely adhered to. We were a little worried going to the room as the hallway carpets were quite dirty with lots of debris, and the rooms seemed very close together. But all was great in the room. Extremely clean, good lighting, very comfortable bed and linens. The shower was great with overhead jets as well as side jets. We didn't expect breakfast with the room so were happy to receive vouchers for breakfast at Tonic with 4 different options. The only issue with the room is that we wish there was a way to turn off the blue light under the bed as we prefer to sleep in total darkness. The shuttle service from and to the airport was fast and efficient.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport, and we were flying in from Australia, so the primary purpose was a convenient place to stay, and recover from jet lag.
This looked good and offered excellent value for money given it's high season holiday period in Canada.
Was able to phone for an airport transfer pickup within 15 minutes, back to the hotel.
The room, with two queen beds, was almost perfect. Blackout curtains did the job and double glazed windows reduced motorway traffic noise to negligible level.
Slept like a log.
The walking shower was marvelous. Nice and hot.
My only gripes would be the average tea bag option: I'm a Dilmah fan, so anything else is lacking. But this is the case with most hotels in room beverage offerings.
And cafe style takeaway cups rather than crockery, only four small milk serves, and no coffee bags was a surprise as well. Although we figured out the coffee machine, and the espresso was acceptable.
The restaurant is wonderful. Staff are attentive, and the meals themselves are also excellent, with generous servings.
When we requested that the music be turned down, they were happy to oblige.
The complimentary breakfast had excellent options, and was also a generous serving.
Overall rating 4.5 from me.

We booked a night in Calgary after returning from a week long Jasper/Banff trip. Apart from the decentralized location near the airport, we had a wonderful one night stay. The rooms were modern and spotlessly clean. All the staff we encountered from front desk, cleaning and restaurant serving staff were pleasant and smiling. Plenty of room and the beds were comfortable. Our stay included breakfast but it was not the traditional buffet breakfast bar you would expect from a freebie. It was a full service breakfast at Tonic (in hotel restaurant) with your choice of entree. Special shout out to Mary Grace our server who provided fantastic service even though it was a free breakfast (remember to tip your server!). All in all we had a great stay and would return on our next trip to Calgary.

Lobby got crowded at times. But they handled everyone efficiently so no big deal. If you get a drink voucher you can also use that for the next morning's breakfast for some orange juice or what have you in case you are with family and would prefer to use it that way. Water pressure is great in the shower and the rain/wall shower heads are nice as well. We drove into downtown to get some dinner, there was construction going on, was confusing getting in and out thank goodness for GPS. The parking lot is huge but each spot is very narrow. If you don't like door dings watch where you park. My kids liked the hot tub (both very crowded but high turnover rate so you get some time in it), and the funky lighting under the beds. Very clean, no airport noise we noticed from the room.

This is a new hotel, modern and fresh if you arrive late or depart early at the airport. There’s a restaurant in the lobby for breakfast, lunch and dinner that serves late into the night. You can order and take back to your room, the choices are not bad and the food is surprisingly good for an airport hotel. The free shuttle is convenient to get to/from the airport which is about 10 minutes away. I would stay here again for a quick refreshment before or after a long flight.

We absolutely love staying at this hotel. The amenities are great, wonderful breakfast!! The hot tubs on the roof are very nice. Nice touch. We will certainly return. The shuttle service to the airport was handled very smoothly and courteously.

Please be careful when booking at Applause. It is an airport hotel, so you would expect to get the parking package. I chose the 14 day parking package (advertised as starting at $169), entered my dates, and it asked me to login to get exclusive rates. Then it gave me the screen that showed I was looking at the 14 day parking package rates, showing $209.00 as the regular rate and $174 as the exclusive rate. After I booked the package at $174, I find out that because I chose the Exclusive rate, the parking package disappears. Apparently, for the exclusive rate, I must pay $10 per day on top of the exclusive rate. Or, I can pay the full rate of $209 and then add on a parking package for another $50. So $259 is the minimum upsell you will be forced to eat on arrival at the hotel from an advertised and booked package rate of $174. This is all before taxes, of course.

We had a quick stopover here on our way through town. We were able to easily find the shuttle at the airport and it was a quick drive to the hotel. If you’ve seen photos it’s clear the vibe at this hotel is modern. I recognize this is about personal taste, but the lobby while open with lots of natural light, had furniture that didn’t feel warm or welcoming (metallic couches and chairs, coffee tables that appeared to me pieces of metal welded together). I’m not at all sure what the lighting under the bed is about but it feels…gross. Fortunately there was a remote and we turned it off. Check in was easy and since we were leaving before the restaurant opened in the morning we were able to get drink vouchers for the restaurant instead of breakfast vouchers.

Good Morning,
We do have a courtesy shuttle service that can certainly pick you up from the airport. However please note that our shuttle is only available from 5am-11am and 5pm-11pm. Please contact us at 403 460 9588 once you are ready for pick up.
Please be advised as well that face covering is now by law in Calgary and is required in all indoor public premises and in public vehicles.

They were open when we went last week and they were open in January when we went . However in January when I stayed they weren’t open to public as they were reserved for a party , but they gave us free drink and food voucher.
There are more places to choose from in the Calgary area.
