The Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre Calgary Airport garners praise for its spotless premises and the cozy atmosphere that resonates with guests, especially during events. While the food options and shuttle service are frequently lauded, the rooms receive a mixed response; some find them spacious and comfortable, whereas others have encountered maintenance issues.
While many find the pricing fair, others have been taken aback by unexpected costs and service lapses. Nonetheless, the staff often receives commendations for their professionalism and attentiveness.

Hotel's Favourite
I arrived at the hotel at 1 am after a horrible day of delayed flights and delayed bags and harsh winter travel. I was greeted at the door with a smile, kindness and empathy.
After a great quick check in I went up to my room. Much to my delight it was gorgeous. Price was great so I did not expect the room to be as nice as it was. It was super clean, bathroom was beautiful and updated. The linens were white cotton, my favorite. The bed was super comfortable and it was quiet.
I will definitely be coming back to this hotel next time I have an overlay in Calgary.

Granted this hotel isn't in the most attractive location in the airport area, as it's sandwiched between an industrial lot and a car junkyard facing a YYC runway. However, when you enter the hotel you are immediately impressed with the level of modern luxury in the main foyer and the courtesy of the front desk staff.
The halls are very impressive with their integrated u-shaped lights, the rooms are absolutely wonderful, supremely well housekept, very spacious, ultra-modern, magnificently outfitted, and blessed with extremely comfortable beds. The large flatscreen TV has scores of HD channels, the WiFi is very fast, the bathroom is superlative with a huge glass fronted shower, and most surprisingly the rooms are whisper quiet. This is even more astounding when you look out your window and see jets taking off and landing right across the street!
The pool and spa area is meticulously clean, spacious, and the water temperatures are perfect. I also appreciated the hours: 6 am to 11 pm, a big difference from many hotels which have their pools accessible barely 12 hours a day. The only nit to pick is that this area desperately needs more lighting as it does get a bit dark and gloomy in there.
It was in the middle of winter and therefore a low demand time, but the rate I paid was ridiculously low. I experienced a truly great hotel for a cheap motel price... and it doesn't get any better than that!

Excellent Hotel! This business cares for its clients. We have stayed here on our way to and from our yearly vacation for the past four years. I have only had one bad experience and it was immediately addressed to my complete satisfaction. This hotel is competitively priced, clean, quiet, offers free shuttle service to and from airport, and it has fantastic food for an evening dinner meal or morning breakfast. The only criticism I could make would be the fact that there was no breakfast buffet when we were advised there would be one. This Radisson Airport Hotel offers the convenience and security for peace of mind, of parking your vehicle at the hotel for the duration of your vacation. The staff is outstanding. On our stay Jan 4th we had dinner in the lounge, my mother lost her earring so I called the front desk, they in turn called the lounge. The fellow who served us in the lounge that evening and who found the earring, had it hand delivered to our room. On our return trip Jan 19th, when we checked out Jan 20th, I asked if I could purchase a couple of their very comfortable pillows. The housekeeping staff member was called and she took us up to a room in order for us to show her exactly which pillows we were interested in. We left with two in hand (feather ones) and the housekeeper ordered additional pillows (foam filled) in Queen size to fulfill my request. Over the top service for sure. We will definitely be returning again.

Hi,
When I arrived in town after a full day of travel and trusting that the hotel would be upfront, I paid without looking at the amount I was being charged. The next day I was checking my credit card balance and I was (i thought) overcharged $300! I went to talk to the front desk about it and was told that they do that for "incidentals ". The only possible incidental was the 2 bottles of water in my room (which were free if you were a member). There is no minibar or anything in my room. I tried to explain that this was my food money for the trip the lady at the front desk shrugged and said it was policy. When I asked if there was anything that could be done she said no and went back to her work.
Had I been informed of this hold before handing could have planned better. I am here for medical reasons.
Also need to mention that I had ASK for someone to shovel the sidewalk in the back parking lot as I slipped. It had stopped snowing 2 hours previous.
The hotel itself is nice, quiet and the rooms are comfortable and well kept.
Very disappointed in the staff response.
Lastly, prior to my trip I had requested a microwave in my room. I received a response stating that they would do that. It took 3 days to get it.
Sadly I will never stay with this chain again.

We stayed here while in Calgary. We were initially attracted to the great price. The modern aesthetic and features such as the heated tiles in the bathrooms and big jacuzzi tub to wind down in and double sided fireplaces.
While I appreciated everything above it was the cleanliness of the room that gives it the low rating. There was the previous guest drinking glass just sitting on the fireplace mantle. The floor lamp shade was at a 45 degree angle like someone has knocked it down. The cleaning staff (I hope) left a used paper towel? On the floor of the bathroom and there was absolutely no way the bathroom mirrors were wiped. The vacuuming/dusting was also questionable. And during COVID... it just didn’t feel really clean.
Also disappointing was the hot tub was not working during our stay.

Second time staying in this hotel and both times were enjoyable. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and modern. Good location by the airport and lots of parking. If flying you can park your car for $7 a night and take complementary Shuttle to the airport, which was very convenient. Will stay again.

We used this hotel for before and after our trip to the States as they have a park and fly option. We’d done this a couple years ago and the hotel was great. This time, not so much. Used the pool first thing in the morning and the pool deck was DISGUSTING, hair and dirt every where and wet towels from the day before still laying all over. Long dark hairs were all over our towels as well.
We left for our trip and we got back to the hotel at 1030pm after being gone for a week... the joys of this was SUPPOSED to be that we could just get in and go to bed with our 5 year old. Yeah right. Got into the room, pulled out the couch and looked for sheets. No sheets and not even a mattress cover on the stained mattress. It took at least half an hour and three trips made by the guy at the desk to get us a mattress cover that didn’t fit and 2 queen size flat sheets for the double mattress on the couch. Pulled the blanket out that was in the closet and it had hair all over it. Got my son tucked in, finally at about 1130 and I go to crawl into bed... annnd the mattress is basically broken on one side. There’s a huge crease in it. I ended up on the pullout with my son and my husband slept on the ‘good side’ of the bed. it was almost midnight at this point or i would have asked for a new room. But we all needed what little sleep we could get.

I was very impressed with all aspects of this hotel. I was treated very well the whole stay. I enjoyed the quality construction of the building and felt comfortable and clean. I have never been to a hotel this nice in Alberta. The fact that you get all of the amazing features of this hotel at a wonderful price makes it an easy decision to choose.

Horrible service , switched rooms a twice as both rooms were dirty. Paid $113 a night $387 total and they front desk refused to give us complimentary breakfast, asked for extra towel as we had a 3 year old with us and there was only two towels in the room and they said only two towels per room
It was a hassle get extra towels!!!!
Never again, I will never recommend anyone with family to stay at that hotel

Expensive..they will ask you if you want a coffee.. they pour you a coffee and bill you $4.00. For it.. we drove to tim horton's
If you call the Radisson they will send the shuttle and it was just outside luggage carousel at #17 station that they met me. Very convenient and close.
Ari the fellow who picked me up was very accommodating and a really nice guy.
I’m sorry but we had a rental car that we dropped off and the hotel picked us up at the rental car area and brought us back to the hotel and then had a shuttle to take us to the airport. We did no have our own vehicle.
The best thing to do is call beforehand, but if for some reason you cannot call you can call the hotel ok n arrival, you will have to wait for about 15 minutes before the shuttle arrives.
