Stayed many nights in the park and sadly, the management in the park is horrid and terribly rude. One thing they need to learn here is they are in the "service" industry, and if they did not have guests, they would not have a campground - or jobs. Sadly, tho, this is the only campground East of Calgary until you...

Hi Lisa, Glad to hear from you. While we certainly agree, we are in the service industry, this is also a business. When you abandoned your RV here for six straight months without payment or any commitment to us to retrieve it, we did get a little frustrated, specifically after we attempted to reach you via phone for months with...

Really enjoyed the area and liked that it was a very kid friendly place to stay. Nice park for the kids, nice pull through spots and nice clean bathrooms and showers. They even have a large washing sink in the washroom next to a long counter that I thought would be handy to bath infants in if you need to....

Hello, Thanks for your feedback! We are a family owned and operated campground - my husband and I have two small children and we live on site. We certainly understand the need to be child-friendly! The bathroom and shower facilities are due for an upgrade (in 2017), but it is important to us that they are always very clean and...

We stayed for several nights in this campground while visiting Calgary. the site we got was OK, - although our sewer hose and power were almost in the middle of the camper beside us. As was our next door neighbors in our yard area. Funny set up. Staff were not that friendly, and changed over the days. Mistake was made...

We were heading home from Alaska and this was the right place at the right time. And, our bird dog is somewhere near the weight limit but no one offered to even look at him for future info. Everything was neat and clean. I'd stay again if ever here.

Very unfriendly staff. Slow and unmotivated. Some sites have badly located hook-ups so that a normal rental RV cannot connect. The location is not too bad. East of Calgary. However, it is close to the highway and therefore quite noisy.

Just a note for all you dog owners out there, this park has a 'pet policy' that only dogs UNDER 50lbs are permitted inside the park. I found this information on their website and called to confirm as I have never, in all my years of camping, ever come across such a policy. No explanation was offered or is visible...

Hello, I'll take it from your review, then, that you have not, in fact, stayed here at Mountain View Camping, which I believe is a basic requirement for submission of a review here on Tripadvisor. I hope that you are aware of how seriously review ratings impact small family-run businesses like ours, specifically when you haven't even been to the...

Great People make up for average sites. Paved roads and gravel sites - important because it has rained every day. Again, the rain does not slow down great people - whether they are at the Stampede or at the RV Office. The people of Calgary go way beyond what is expected. They have this thing down - shuttle to the...

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to submit a review! We often refer to Calgary as a big city with a small-town feel. We pride ourselves on great customer service and we truly enjoy meeting people from all over the world! We are currently installing our new 18 hole mini-golf course. Due to significant weather fluctuations (like you said, tons...

We first bnooked our site in Feb and had to change our plans several times. Each time Cara made extreme efforts to accommodate our request. Upon arrival our site was too small for our coach. Chris went out of his way to not only help us into our site, but was able to locate a much better location. The bathroom...

Hello! I'm pleased to hear from you! I hope that the remainder of your trip this summer was packed full of fun. We strive to always do our best to give 110% to each of our guests. This is not always an easy task to achieve, specifically when we have several hundred individuals here at any one time. It can...

Very clean laundry facilities, nice grassy area for each site, VERY pet friendly, very friendly staff, and only minutes to Calgary. Hello, We are so pleased that your stay with us was great! The Wifi service has been a difficult hurdle for us, as we can not receive standard internet services in our location (despite our proximity to the city). We have worked hard for nearly 5 years to enhance this service by working closely with a specialty company that provides...

The campground itself is not very exciting as the sites are quite small and without too much green around. But the staff is very friendly, washing and tumbling machines are available and the site is located excellent to TransCanada Highway No. 1 and Calgary (though not loud). For visiting the city and area around incl. Olympic Park it's a good...

Thanks so much for your feedback. We are proud to offer service in English, French, and German to make all of our guests feel comfortable here! We have embraced our German heritage since the RV park was opened in 1987. Being so close to the city has its good and bad points, and we do our best to highlight the...
