The hotel is beautiful, a grand old lady. Excellent friendly staff with a helpful and accommodating attitude. Location is perfect for what we needed - museums, concerts, etc. The bar is lovely but wine is very expensive, as is breakfast in the restaurant - we didn't eat here. Room was well designed and comfortable although a little fridge would be...

A majestic structure in downtown. I used to stay there for business trips and enjoyed the luxury of this opulent hotel. However, I did not like the rooms. Every time, I checked in, my room was small, dark with no view at all. I found better value for money in other downtown hotels. I spoke to my colleagues and the...

Probably our best stay yet. Great comfortable room, excellent gym and pool, and I would especially like to point out the great service we received in the Gold Lounge. Look forward to returning in a couple of months.

The Palliser is a rather majestic hotel in the middle of Calgary, Canada's energy capital. My first impressions were not good - as I was in the cab paying, a doorman took out my two small bags from the trunk (including one with my computer) and put them next to his stand outside, clearly expecting a tip. I did not...

From check in to check out the experience was outstanding. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location within the city is perfect. The Gold Lounge offers food through out the day, and the selection and quality was always excellent. The lounge also offers business amenities and the staff could not be more willing to help out. Melvin or...

I stayed at the Palliser for business Jan. 23-25. The service, from pre-check-in, to the Fairmont Gold Lounge check-in to the Gold Lounge and Oak Lounge was beyond compare! It was a very busy time with some high profile guests visiting then and the staff made everything seemless and extraordinarily comfortable. It is the epidemy of the world-class, high-touch service...

I stayed at the Fairmont Palliser during the 2016 Calgary Stampede. The hotel was quite busy. I would say the hotel management and staffs provided exceptional service. For the stampede parade the hotel had set up chairs for the guests, brought out beverages and house made caramel bacon donuts. The Gold Floor lounge had views of the city and the...

This hotel is one of those classic railroad hotels. It is elegant in every way. They have great special weekend rates including very reasonable valet parking. It is centrally located in the city but you won't want to leave the hotel. High tea is special. Very friendly and personal service.

Had a lovely stay with a work function before the New Year. Very accommodating! We had catered meals that were delicious and in abundance! The rooms were very nice and quaint. The architecture alone was something to see. Valet parking was lovely and checking in was a breeze.

My Husband and I stayed for just one night...I wish it would have been longer. In fact I pleaded to be left behind. The Gold floor is lovely and the penthouse lounge area makes it hard to leave the hotel at all. Breakfast in the gold lounge far exceeded our expectations and was delish with hot and cold dishes, loads...
