The room was the last they had available. The clerk told us it would be suitable for three adults. He put a roll away in the room which was quite close to the bed and difficult to maneuver around. we scraped our legs on the cot each time. There was a large spider running across the floor. The bathroom was...

This hotel is in a stunning location. We visited to experience the Rockies and this hotel was an excellent base. If you want to drive around, or walk in the mountains this is a great hotel. There are no TV's, WIFI is extremely limited, and this lodge is little changed from when it was built but this does not detract...

What a lovely lodge to stop and stay along our bike tour. Decor was true Canadian woods and made you feel like you were stepping back in time. The history of this place is remarkable. Great dining in the lodge restaurant and friendly staff made this a wonderful experience.

It is so wonderful to hear you were able to stop and recoup at our lodge along your bike trip. It is true that our location between Lake Louise and Jasper makes our lodge an ideal and scenic place to rest before taking on the next half of the Icefeilds Parkway heading towards either Jasper or Lake Louise. Thank you...

Only place to stay a reasonable distance from Lake Louise (if you were on a bike trip like we were). Beautiful views, best dinner on the trip (funky breakfast but we hear that it was the chef's first day on the job), and great secluded location. Rooms were a little funky for the $280 or so we paid. The bed...

Good day, Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the lodge. We always enjoy having cyclists over to stay at our amazing location along the Icefields Parkway. The lodge is in fact rustic and charming, and we are glad to offer a great getaway with magnificent hiking trails just outside our doorstep. We look forward to your next visit.

Dingy rooms with brown water from the taps. No screens on the windows in terribly hot, stuffy rooms but you can't have them open because of the mosquitos. The beds are painfully hard. The walls are so thin you can hear everything, you might as well be in a tent. No food from the dinner menu as a problem with...

We spent just one night here in a two day trip down the ice field parkway to Banff. It is the only building on bow lake, stunning scenery (particularly if you get up at sunrise and see the lake when it is like a millpond - we got some stunning pics of the mountains perfectly reflected, like a tourist brochure!...

The lodge is in a stunning location. It was even more scenic due to an early snowfall. The dining room has amazing views and is very rustic. Yes the rooms are basic especially the bathroom but this added to the charm. As with hotels the world over you pay for location rather than ameinaties. Worth every penny and all six...

Left Emerald Lake with the intention of looking for a breakfast stop on route to Jasper and found this delightful place. Great breakfast, attentive staff, and a super little souvenir shop attached. Fabulous views of Bow lake and surrounding mountains. Definitely worth a stop, off highway 93.

What a charming lodge away from many other things. Offers stunning views and decent meals. Kitchen can't handle big groups and food choices are limited but nice enough. It may seem a little dated and a little pricey, but we certainly don't regret our stay. It was a great way to start our vacation in the Rockies.
