The hotel, service, accommodation and restaurant at the Morraine Lake Lodge are all top quality - but the most impressive point about staying here is the Lake itself. Truly stunning and outside of the 'tourist' times (10:00 - 16:00), residents have the lake pretty much...More
I am so happy we stayed here instead of the more busy Lake Louise. The view from our room was so beautiful it seems unreal. The lake and the views are unlike anything I have ever seen. We stayed in a room in the main...More
Loved our recent stay at Moraine Lake Lodge! We had a lake-side cabin that was great. The complimentary bottle of wine was a plus, with wine glasses & an opener provided. The L'occitane effervescent cube in the bath was just what was needed after hiking....More

We brought our 9-year-old son last summer and it was fine, but they don't cater to children. They say on the website they cannot accommodate children under the age of 8. With all the noise from the tourists in the lake all day though, I'm not sure why they don't allow young kids to stay there. It is a beautiful place and we plan to return, but we've learned this isn't a place for peace and quiet!!
