The Post Hotel is all about class with old world charm. Everything about this hotel is first class from the rooms, the staff, the food and best of all the view. Though we stayed on the quiet side with a view of the river and a narrow view of the mountains from our balcony, if you didn't mind the rather...

I recently spent a couple of nights here, just to get away for some rest and relaxation. I was looking for a hotel in the Lake Louise-Banff area that was relaxing, comfy, quiet, with a rustic yet elegant atmosphere. I had stayed at other hotels in the area, but none quite lived up to my expectations. The Post Hotel hit all the boxes....

We stayed for one night and we really like this hotel. We took the advice from other travellers review and booked the room at the preferred side. The hotel is located next to a river and the view from our room is trees, river and hotel cabins. It is a lovely and peaceful side of the hotel. The hotel itself...

The property is well advertised and highly regarded, so plan to book well in advance. If you can secure one of the individual cabins along the river I would highly recommend it, as the seclusion and ambience that they provide are well worth the extra expense. We booked two adjacent cabins and the evenings and mornings sitting in Adirondack chairs...

We stayed 4 nights during a roadtrip across canada. We were glad that rooms were not available at the fairmont after seeing the crowds of tourists there or we might not have found this place. Comfortable room with jacuzzi, and balcony and we had the indoor pool, hot tub, and steam room mostly to ourselves. Food from room service and...

Our one-night stay here was always intended to be a little spot of luxury in the middle of our trip through the Canadian Rockies (we're not in the habit of paying almost £200 equivalent for a room-only rate). And it turned out to be even better than we'd hoped, as we were given a free upgrade from a Double Room...

We were impressed with this hotel from the moment we arrived. On the perimeter of a small village resort the location is great. Rooms are of a very high standard and spotlessly clean. The integral pub, though small and busy, had excellent bar food at reasonable prices. The service was faultless, just as well as I left the lights on...

It could be because I was there in the middle of the week. This hotel is located at the bottom of the hill and I thought it was nice and secluded. I was a bit skeptical at first - heck even the doors still use regular metal keys to open - but the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. I...

I can't say much that hasn't already been said but our stay at the Post Hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating to us and our 2 year old. The grounds were gorgeous and we spent a lot of time playing near the river. The food was excellent and the in-house babysitters were absolutely...

The Post isn't cheap. But it is elegant, friendly, welcoming and professional. Don't be put off by people saying that some of the rooms are 'noisy' because they face the railway track. We spent the first night in a 'railway-facing' room then the next two in a different room, and the rooms were equally good - the railway did not...
